 Nov 2017 SilentMetanoia
Kellin
Almost eight billion souls
And all I see in them
is your absence
You are a universe within a body
And I am caught in your gravity
Spinning, I've had a few too many
Almosts with you, in doses so small
I didn't know I was hooked
Being drawn in on the line
Pulled out of my atmosphere
The world was beautiful out there
But I couldn't breathe that air..
there was never enough you
to make up for me
i got tangled in the web of lines
that run down your palm
Take that chance, take the fall
because falling is the first step to flying,
It is the landing you have to worry about
You may fall but never land.
You never really know what you get
until you are sure you want it.
Be sure, and by what i can see,
you want your illuminating star,
no matter how much you push away,
the gravity of that star pulls you in.
So listen to me....take the fall,
because it might just be
the best **** ride you're given in this life.
As long as you are by my side
My future is in rainbows
and my past is black and white
because only the colours
we see in the world, matter.
All that is dreary and drab
is left behind.
[About my girlfriend]
Hated is hard
But yet you exist
Invisible is agony
You might be there
But people don't care
Forgotten
Looked over
A faceless name
A nameless face
Wrapped in a cloak of invisible thread
Standing in silence
A word never to be said
i used to think
that if you
wrote down a bunch of words,
spaced them
out
dramatically,
and gave it
a title,
it could
be
called
a
poem
