Beg
You begged me,

to fall in love with the
moon.

So I could get

accustomed to having all of
you,

but then, none
at all too..

Going a day without that face.
The mirror hates me, such a reflective disgrace.
I am **** so shameful and selfish.
Put me in the sea, let my lungs fill and sink to the shellfish.

Keep walking back to me, never mind tomorrow.
You got your whole life to live.
I'll be in my box while the world and your eyes look down in sorrow.

The coward I've become is the dirt that needs to become weeds.
Bury that ****, let the water fill his void and the Daisy's get to feed.

The irony of my performance that I dig in to the depths of depression and despair, spit it all over a microphone, pour out every brittle and heartbroken amount of emotion I can so people can clap and cheer.

Lie
the sun we worship is made of the sinners we are.

the tragic we are, the remanance of such beauty entangled within the most brutal of car crashes.
At least we got to feel the impact and devastation while holding hands.

I want to know what it's like,
So I can feel it inside.
