Steal a whisper from the breeze – wipe your shoes at the threshold
of Father Time; the embrace of Mother Nature bosoms over my gaze,
nourishing me with the vivid picture of life yearning for sustenance.
As a wailing child, wrap me in the blanket of my dreams; my sheets
stained with yellow – don’t label me as yellow, for I despise
being ******.

Capture a flair in a brushstroke – the delicate arch of an eyebrow,
lifted at the sight of the Cross; “I still ponder how,” they criticized the
woman who dried His feet with her hair – she must have been bold.
Now, resting at the foot of the Cross; I must be wise to take down
those footnotes.

Lend a smile from a tear – grinning through the pain, the ache of
existence is merely this relentless cycle within the machinery of time.
A lavish timepiece; cherish all that you have at hand; and arm your resolve to fulfil His Will.
A sick person rushes to feel well, yet
Ironically, "patient" they'll be –

Are you tired of the wait,
Or is it just your fate now, to find that
Patience is the way of life?
Sincerely, "patient" we'll be –
As I rest on the rigid air – a leaf drifts down, soothing in
its descent; by a gush, the wind that blows through hair.
Tears cascade like rain, shattering and scattering as they
touch the ground— parting the throng of young and old,
all yearning for the fill of love to seep deep into their pores.

I am merely a frigid leaf; the tear of my once grief
the bruise of all dreams pursued with bare feet.

The gentle kiss of light seeks to rekindle the spark in your
eyes— I've heard the haunting echoes of blindness, of a
relentless quest for self, yet finding nothing of substance.

I am just a sigh, empty and bare.
To live better for an ex, what an ugly sight,
Heartbreak fuels change, day and night.
Love's once gentle embrace,
Seems so lost in this after race,
While masks hide the truth from the light.

“I never really needed you anyway,”
Doesn’t that face dare to say,
But the mask covering your heart –
Isn’t that an ***** that has so much to impart,
Having so much more to say.
A sober thought to a drunkard's plight,
Is like an insomniac’s dream of sleep in the night.
Love's sweet embrace,
Is nothing to a bird in a cage,
As a wing that just won't take flight.

A mind split in two; would be so strange,
That finds no spare sense to pay for change.
All things must weigh,
Even as the world turns away,
To call you deranged, out of its range.
Live as you are made- to live with no shame.
Awaken me in shades of pink,
To the warmth of your blush—
Let’s fill these empty spaces
With our sleepy morning smiles.
The taste of morning; you devouring
The entire world with your loud,
Yet delightful yawns.

Do I cherish as deeply as
A flower does, on who plucks it?
A pretty thing – I’m pretty sure
We all love to be picked out
First from the bouquet.
Share with me the moment you’re
Savouring on; caught in the fleeting
Seconds lingering on your lips.
It must have been
A delightful little brunch.

Wasn’t that where our paths first crossed?
My memory isn’t  as sharp as it once
Was, to recall all we shared.
That empty plate was merely a canvas
For your affection; you nourished me
Well, as a true friend.
This will start off as a less than serious write; but by its end,
it will come all right.

Bullet penetrating stares —observing everything just to leave the
world with another bullet hole. A tongue like a dagger slicing
through every word of speech; those in charge desperately trying to
keep control. You caught me off guard without my bulletproof vest-
my chest, covers over my heart with a ****** to protect my love.

I settled my debts in the rear of a fleeting romance – a partner I
needed to catch like a taxi on the street; though our paths rarely
matched – I had to read the steps to her heart as if it were a well
detailed and laid out map.

I walked by, bidding goodbye countless times – but I never truly
grasped this kind of love, I never had my hand in it; yet I played my
role by waving you hie. However, I must have misinterpreted what
you saw in me, mistaking it for a feeling that soared a bit too high.
Yet, it wouldn’t keep us grounded, we could be birds for the night;
unless you have a touch of fear when it comes to heights.

Just co-pilot for this flight – I’ll soar above your challenges, offering
guidance with my perspective’s oversight. Savour the flavour of love,
but don’t indulge too soon; you wouldn’t want to spoil your appetite
for the main course – save yourself an overbite. Misaligned; life may
start off a bit askew, but ultimately, we all seek that perfect match, to
find the right fit of being in love, with our Mr. or Mrs. Right.
