You've searched all your world, your reality too.
You've searched deep inside, your soul you've searched through.
So many a night, the days stretching on.....
Searching for peace, belonging to you.

You know that it's yours, you demand it be there
Yet instead of its presence, you find only despair
So many a night, days still stretching on,
You think maybe easier, if you just didn't care.

So how do you find this peace that you seek?
How long will you last, feeling so weak?
What must you do? and where do you start?
How to find courage, with a broken heart?

well...you take a step.  only one is required
every step holds great power, even if uninspired

Begin at the bottom, build it from there
love as your guide, now you're able to care
Care for all creatures, no matter how small
Even for those, who've caused you to fall.

To care is essential, allowing kindness it's start
respect is your armor,  protecting your heart
trust is the key, which opens the door
love now evolving,  get ready for more

stay true to yourself,
and in all remain fair
Peace can now find you,
forever to share.

if it were up to me
i would show up at your house
dressed as the love of your life.
i would drag you from your bed
rip your heart from your chest
and leave your lifeless body at the door
for your mother to find.

i would tear every good feeling
straight out of your stomach
and replace them with memories
of all the things that made you love me.

i would burn the remaining pieces
and scatter the ashes
along beaches we planned to get married
and cities we were supposed to live.

i would leave your mind
hollow and unattended
and force you to feel me forgetting you,

sort of like what you did to me.
I wrote this in like 5 minutes because I was angry and thinking about the past. Sorry it's sort of dark.

I secretly despise you
For your forced rejection of status quo
Your fascination with death and crows
Even though it's clear death frightens you
Your incessant opinion that you're a virtuoso
So loud, the ear begs to be free, says Van Goh
Yet, you act and strut around without a clue

I secretly hate you
For you disregard tomorrow
Focusing solely on your ego

I secretly envy you
Because at least you're good
At playing this game
