Fighting demons inside
Pushing away the angel on my side
Filling the void of “I don’t know why”
Slowly losing the battle of my life

Wrote this for a coworker dealing with drug addiction. For as much as I say “I don’t care anymore” I am human and have a heart. I hope nothing happens to him and he gets help but I’m done fighting his battles as well.
