Clarity in mind
Purity in heart
I seek with each passing thought

Revel in the revelation
Of weaknesses and strengths
Peace reigns within

Accumulating experiences
Imbued in the knowledge
That right and wrong coexist

Year after year
New and old
Blend in and grow apart

Lost and found
Forever in time
Rays of hope and sunshine
Happy New Year 🎉🎉

My earth was waiting for your stormy footsteps.
They say,
It's not a crime to love what you can't explain.
So you'll be my secret forever
just like the sea's oath to the inquisitive siren.
I promise to hide you in
the crimson of my eyes,
in the blues of my veins.

i find that i write the best
just after a fight
just after i've cried
just after the tears have fallen

doesn't matter what story it is
happy, sad, mysterious
funny, tragic, ridiculous
i will always write it well

because any story i write
after a fight, after i've cried
is a story that gives me the most comfort
because any fiction

is better than this.

Ashly Kocher
Connectivity with no word to be said
Like an unwritten message with a hidden meaning to be transcribed
Thoughtful moments
Unspoken thoughts
Unraveling the conversations with a simple look
Willingness to break silence
Calming the air
Simplest laughter
Hearts full of friendship and love
Nothing is beyond compare

Being a poet
is both a pain and a privilege.

All you do is
bleed your emotions
on a thousand pages
while people sing your praises
for ages.
Only a poet will understand.

Blue
They call it the color of sorrow
and use it to depict
deepest sadness and mournful
sentiments
:::
Blue
The color of tears
The color of the stormy sea
The color of veins in ice cold skin
:::
I say that Blue is not the color of sorrow
It is the color of the dress
she wore to her first date
It is the color of her eyes;
and don't they look like the sea?
:::
And the sea isn't sad - it's beautiful
and full of life, like her smile
when she sees her favorite flower;
Bluebells
