a sparrow twitters
it's happiness and does not
know its wonder mind
I only have 5 minutes
To spare this poetry
Here it goes:

5.
I do not wish to be seen
Said the old man in me
So leave me alone
Cause I don't want to be

4.
For I've been running away
This is what I hate
And I envy everyone else
Who are not in the same fate.

3.
What have I become?
Where will I go?
The questions are left unanswered
And I've searched high and low.

2.
To be strong once more
In my world full of doubt
To be strong while I lose
In my latest bout.

1.
I wish I had more time
Just like before
I only have 5 minutes
And I wish I had more.
Lose all you can in this life.
However, if the sagging smile on your face draws all soul-eating spirits to you, you will crown your defeats with glory.

a possibility the machine is broken
a pause, a stutter
a halt in locomotion
sometimes the parts wear out
not made for the harsh road
travelled
sometimes a weakness will shout
to demonstrate a need for slowing
but after all we've been through
to be betrayed
this far on the journey
I'd chop you in for a new one
if it weren't for the fact
I'm human

I don’t know,
I just know I feel unimportant to you,
And every time,
That I finally start to believe I’m wrong,
You prove me right,
And still, despite my rightness,
Im such a fool.

Corrosive, corrupting
Tainted to the core
Unbeknownst to himself

Poisoned wine,
He offers, he pours
Whiskey in a bottle
Ablaze in unseen flames
Over a bed of glass
Broken and shattered
Blood boils and burns

Fester in a mind
Linger, spread like cancer
Pain beneath the skin
Seep into the bones
Down into the marrow
Quietly, silently
Enticed to decay.

When youth
When wit
When these weapons depart
May courage
May wisdom
May these tools prove enough
"When youth departs, may wisdom prove enough." Winston Churchill
The Privilege

rare s/he who contemplates the
painting that can only seen from
frame, looking to outside/from within

expelling words, expecting sounds
felling forest trees, a-seizing, but
listening, waving… hearing silence

For we mistake who’s the audience,
we are the audience,
we are

The Privileged

the Privilege
accepting your acceptance,
taking your listening,
listening to your taking

That This! was Granted,
you to us,
The Privilege,
astounding!
for you gave us
art
to create
