if I knew I was
going to die
tomorrow
would I spend today
writing more
or
saying goodbye to my loved ones?

hardest choice of my life

maybe I'll write my goodbye
in the form of another poem
to make the best of both worlds

People like you die young, she said
You don't drink, don't
do drugs, eat healthy, rarely
go out, rarely meet new girls

But you keep on writing, boy, you
keep on writing
and that's enough to outweigh
all the above

You'll see

best part about having no friends
is having no enemies either
best part of having no significant other
is being able to feel whole by yourself
best part of solitude is
solitude
best part of loneliness is...
I wouldn't know that. I never
felt lonely.
drops falling steadily
upon a misty world
far more than fifty shades of green
dazzle your senses
make you
     almost
hear
trees  bushes  flowers
drinking sustenance
     ecstatically
dancing in the rain
Apropos a nice rainy day in spring

I am a child like you
I have a dream like you
I have a heart like you
I am mankind like you.
I have the right to live like you.
I have the right to freedom like you.

I want to play like you
I want to smile like you
I need to sleep like you
I need a morning like you.
I have the right to live like you.
I have the right to freedom like you.

Why is my path ******?
Why do you blast my body?
Why does dark smoke swarm my sky?
Why do you grab my land, why?
I have the right to live like you.
I have the right to freedom like you.

You have no right to **** my dreams
You have no right to **** my parents
You have no right to **** my friends
You’re all killers; you're all heartless!
I have the right to live like you.
I have the right to freedom like you.

I want only justice
I want a smiley face
I want a peaceful place
I just want a little peace!
I have the right to live like you.
I have the right to freedom like you.

Eons ago, when the stars
where just learning
their place in the sky
A whisper was sent out
crossing over the centuries
I heard it through your eyes
telling me to open mine
and allow those blue swirls
to color paintings in my life
