Full heart to full heart,

Clear quiet mind to clear quiet mind,

                                                 Ocean to Ocean.

                                            Blossoming with Light,

                                                  The Pink Lotus

Resides in Readiness

Patient, Happy.

Feeling good
in my skin
today.

Like a
well-scrubbed
potato.

Quiet mind, immersed
in palest, warmest yellow.

Molecules within
find alignment
with infinity.

Silvery mercurial fluid
paints my bones
with gentle light.

You have come back.

Abundantly, warm salt
water envelopes me.

Even in this chair,
in this empty room.

On dry land.

Junction point
of your
head and heart

It was all you had to give

And you gave it anyway

Swiftly moving clouds modulate
the light coming to closed eyelids.

Today, with God's grace, I know
what it is to be my own
true north.

Finding a home in the cadence of one another's poems,
in the unspoken vastness of space between us,
is another kind of knowing,
found in these seasons
of our hearts, of our minds,
of our varied lives.
And so we keep writing, for those we love.
Yes, these words first appeared as a stanza in a longer poem:
'Virtual Reality, Then And Now'

Clear sun on the bedroom wall,
Doves cooing secrets outside.

Here in the kitchen,
bright scent of orange oil
as it’s skin gives way.

I'll open just one today.
