She promised me tomorrow,
  stealing all my yesterdays

A future blackened with her lies
—the present gone astray

and as we ran through the shallows
i found myself smiling
the water lapping my ankles
as i watched your blonde hair fly like a sail
the sun glinting in your eyes
the promise of summer around the corner
i missed you
i got to see my best friend for the first time in a while yesterday! she recently moved and i was so happy to spend time with her.

These embers can only be relit so many times
Who will keep you warm when I am gone
Oh the irony to die out by these ashes
When this is where we have lived the brightest nights of our lives
I became a coal in your mouth
When my only desire was to warm your heart
You can no longer stomach me
It is my own light that will fade
The char of my existence ground into the earth
When you cremate my final memory
I will be nothing
Until you smell smoke
This is the remembrance of me
I will not be put out so easily
The tide of redemption
—catches all in its wake

You can be the fire
And I can be the air.
Fueling flames and going higher.

We can twist and dance,
Spin and twirl.
Essence of Earth,
Hidden, buried pearl.

I can be your tornado
And you can be my inferno.
"Natural disasters"
Booming thunder
But also, a worldly wonder.
You and I. Best friends.

raphæl
where drunken souls use
the line "I wanna *******."
as a compliment
When spring and autumn combine
You and I shine

We fancy upto the skyline
Doodling with some new designs

With the musings that we can't align
Holding fears that we can't decline

In all the stories you're mine
Says even the sunshine

People come asking are you fine?
Little do they know I'm on cloud nine
