Summer winds will sweetly sing
of fresh ideas that grew in Spring
Autumn winds will heave a sigh
to bid ideas of youth goodbye
Winter winds will cry and moan
they face the coldest months alone
with old ideas set hard as stone
She didn’t bring it as far as she could have
Not because she was wrong
But because he would have been mad that she was right
She thinks it’s right enough
Just to let it slide
Pretend it was all his idea
If she must
She’s almost stopped believing
Slides can be unjust
Technological giants

We learned early

How to command our angels

To ascend higher than our sins

They offered us immortality

In exchange for our planet's wealth

And naturally

We signed on the dotted line

Like spies selling

Secrets to the enemy

But here we are now

With the well run dry...
you can’t smile, they won’t take you seriously
Sometimes seasons start in an unexpected way
Some nights the sleep is stolen away
Some loves are never meant to be
Sometimes
people come into your life and leave.
There are moments in life when everything falls in place
Moments everything falls apart.
Sometime someone comes along
and  makes you laugh,
a gift from heaven.
Energy comes free,
a sparkle lightening up the soul.
Adding time to living .

Laugh and you’ll live longer.

Laughter is like a healing balm for the soul.

Did I not ask for pain?

I'm thinking of you, little girl,
who stared too long at the squirrels in the street
or at the birds in the backyards, missing their heads
poor animal, sweet thing
What a brutal way to go

I heard you wanted to know
what it felt like
I heard you wanted to see for yourself
