FOOLISH QUEST

I step over you
In my foolish quest
No time to stop
Hungers tug .. an impatient guest

Numb fingers
Know not what they touch
I stretch and reach
At nothing …. Much

You haven’t moved
You continue to stare
I can’t be bothered..
Still I’m seeing you… there.

Hands turn up… empty
Nothing left in this place
Familiarities teeth
Now wanting a taste

I step further..
A change of mind
Un-tied…. by old thoughts
From another.. Time.

Moving on in
The hunger withdraws
Not even sure
What I think… I saw.

I border you now
And comprehend it all
My foolish quest
Finds a higher.. Call.

When it comes to shopping here's your key!
Don't bother walking Targets
aisle number three...

There is no competition anywhere!
Whether you need a loaf of bread, tools or underwear...

Walmart is around every corner just for you!

24 hours and a dozen smiles easy to see...
Prices so low; it's all almost free!

Toasters, fans, beds, loafers, bikes... Clean bathrooms open up for you all day and night...

Walmart offers parking under a big spot light!
Friendly attendants will treat you right...

The best security anywhere around!
Why bother shopping at any other place in town?

Crock Pots over on aisle 17!
...the best way to save money I've ever seen!

Walmart, Walmart!
Now you're shopping smart!

Your right at Home at Walmart !

A candle of reflection,
Blessing light of perfection,
Let's pray for global healing,
For any conditions plebs are feeling,
Divine light peace the same,
Relief from life's frantic games,
This, our candle of reflection,
Blessing light of perfection......
Feedback welcome.

Today, I am gardening my life,
I'll root out  worrisome weeds,
Those thoughts that trouble me,
Cast them aside, those I'd never need.

I'll cut the grass of discontent
Layer it even, soft, green and sweet,
Smoothen  the furrows,
So I can run content, bare feet.

I'll water seeds planted with love,
Of friends made this year,
Friendships that bloomed,
That make life special, worth living and dear.

I'll welcome  butterflies,
And make homes for nesting birds,
With them, taste sun's ambrosia,
Soar and see the world.

I'll bask in the rainbow of colors,
Of blossoms brilliant bright,
And keep them sheltered,
When they sleep at night.

I'll capture the scented essence,
Of roses, jasmines and lilies
Place them in a jar,
My fragrant memories.

I'll love; rest and spend more time,
Under the shade of the  family tree,
Cherish every moment, every minute,
' Neath its precious canopy.

And I'll buy new saplings,
Sow them all carefully  in a row,
Of hopes, promises to me and mine,
And tend to them, make them grow

I may be slightly merry
Or even pretty ******
You might even say I'm wellied
(I'm sure you get the jist!)
And I may now talk like thish-ish
And be completely off my ****
But I'll wish you a  merry Christmas
Because I love you guys to bits.
When you go through a struggle
You may take a fall
But, you must get up
And stand up tall
Situations are not simple
The journey will be a challenge
Let it bring out the best in you
And find your balance
