I let the heart take over,
And heeded to its musings.
Prepared for the battle,
On a naked feeble ground.
But the white men went down,
One by one.
Little did I know,
It was mind over heart.
Suddenly, the voices spoke,
And I heard them say -
" The odds were against you. "

The odds.
They still echo.

Whatever I do is done by someone
Whatever I speak is a mime there
Whatever I read is read there by someone
just like me
A short and thin person

"Am I sleepy"
Was the question in my heart
"Certainly not"
Was the response by my mind
"Was it a ghost ?"
My mind asked
"No not a ghost just like me"
My heart responded.

I was pale and blank
So I asked my mom
A "MIRROR" was the response

I then realised that a mirror
can do whatever I do
and speak the same words just like me but with a mime.
And show how I am.

I being a small kid of 7 years discovered something new.
FAIRY TALES ARE MORE THAN TRUE.
NOT BECAUSE THEY TELL US THAT DRAGONS EXIST
BUT THEY ALSO TELL US HOW TO DEFEAT THEM.

Walking on
shattered dreams like
broken glass;
piercing the soles of
my feet like the
soul of my
heart.

Untied my laces and
slipped off
my shoes;
it's hard to
let go when you've
nothing to
lose.

Fill my cup
     with your scent
   Let me drown
           in your essence
               I'm dying
           of thirst
And you're the only
      sustenance
On which
      I can thrive
   And finally
        *Feel alive

I don't know how,
To tell you I am broken,
Without feeling needy,

I don't know how,
To open up,
Without feeling judged,

I don't know how,
To cry when,
My tears feel like acid,

I just need you,
To see that I,
Am hurting,
Without me telling you,
Because my words,
Are bleeding out of my mouth,
Waiting for you to,
Stitch me up,
And make me fine,
Although I know,
That's not your job,
And you're better off without me,

I just need,
You too see me,
One last time..

Time and risk caught up to you;
Gagged you into silence.
Chasing down the dragon was
Your favorite form of violence.

I saw its markings on your skin;
The gauntness of your eyes
Your searching fingers scratching down
To truth, as you breathed lies

China white won this round, love
You thought you'd always dance
The dragon chose another one
And turned its gaze askance.
