Roses are red, Violets are blue,
That's what they say, but it really isn't true.
Roses are red, and apples are too.
But violets are violet, not really blue.
Oranges are orange, but Greenland's not green.
A pinky's not pink, so what does it mean?
To call something blue when it's not is to defile it,
But what the heck, it's hard to rhyme with 'violet'
Never fall in love with a poet
for their words are sometimes lies
on occasions they're a shield
on occasions a disguise

They will take you on a journey
upon which they bare their soul
in a bid to ease your burdens
in a bid to make you whole

But in every word they choose
for the stories that they tell
lies a little piece of heaven
and a little piece of hell

Tormented souls we poets are
sometimes quite broken and despaired
in search of lost expressions
missed by others who once cared

Never fall in love with a poet
unless you're prepared to share their pain
to hold them close on the darkest nights
over and again

We were never lost
     in each other's eyes
Because it is in each other
     that we found home.
Happiness can say hello and goodbye to you on the same day.

You begged me,

to fall in love with the
moon.

So I could get

accustomed to having all of
you,

but then, none
at all too..

All my life
I always wanted to leave
You were the only one
Who made me want to stay.
You were enough.
Don't waste your days away
write bad poetry
I mean absolute garbage
and draw stick figures
with squiggly lines
and paint with your fingers
and laugh when you ****
and blame someone else
for the terrible smell
and sing and scream
whenever your driving
to wherever you may be driving to
and stay up too late
and get up tired
and nap
and sleep through church
or at church
and snore really loud
and day dream
and live dreams
and when the nightmares come
enjoy the fear and the rush
and the pouring sweat
on your forward
as you wake up screaming
but don't look out the window
because there isn't anything
out there that is more scary
than your imagination
and make a deal with the devil
and cheat him his dues
and leave a rubber corpse
on your death bed
and live another day
and out run the sun
and give a butterfly the moon
in exchange for
the hidden treasure map
painted on its wings
and hang that map in the sky
to cover the hole
where the moon used to be
and don't worry
no one will notice
because they look exactly the same
and ask the stars politely
not to tell anyone
and don't forget to say please
and thank you
for stars never ignore a request
for a favor that is asked
with a manner of grace and kindness
and build sandcastles
to close to the shoreline
and watch the waves
wash the towers and walls away
and listen to the mist giggle
at the mischief it has done
and fold a boat
out of the song
no one else can hear
and give your hopes and prayers
to the wind
and sail away
and find yourself
and lose yourself
and give time and love
your full attention
and no matter
how bad things may ever get
or how good things may ever be
I will always be a fool
and a dreamer
and a magic bean believer
and I'll write you bad poetry
really bad
absolute garbage
whenever you need
because I can't think
of any better way
to waste my days away

May
May your day be filled with magic.
May your life be filled with light.
May days be filled with smiles so bright,

May your days be filled with laughter.
May you dance inside dreams grand.
May the moments tick inside sweet song,
as you walk thriving on lands.

May your days pass with great memories.
May you grow inside heart free.
May breath be filled with wisdom strong,
as you wake to bond with me.

May your days reveal great secrets.
May you find you reach your goals.
May you count your blessings numerous,
to know your a sacred soul.

May your day be filled with sunshine.
May you receive hugs so strong,
May you grow old knowing your a gift,
Inside life you can’t do wrong, do wrong,
Inside life you can’t do wrong.

Can't sleep so here is first song/poem of day.
the ocean is blind and beautiful
searching the lonely shore
For what it had, time long past
a love for once before

It worships the ever knowing sun
but dances with the moon
Sacrificing for its love
the rain for springtime blooms

the summer begs so much more of it
the ocean must comply
so storms forge from anvil heights
and paint the raging sky

soon the sun forgets her loyal charm
trees mourn their sour loss
the ocean grows cruel and cold
scarlet leaves wave and toss

what is love with out that flowing fire
her sorrow falls as snow
the earth dreams as winters guest
as its veins seize and slow

the sun will rise once again one day
and she will froth and gleam
sorrow melts returning home
in worn yet hopeful streams
