we are breathing the same air
we are looking at the same skies
we are living in the same world*

but why are our hearts are not beating in the same rhythm?

I shine only because you make it so.
I fly only because beneath my wings
your wind blows.
I speak only because you are my words.
I hear and your name is the most beautiful
I've ever heard.
I breathe only because you are my every breath.
You are my life...you shall be my death.
But even in death, we shall not part.
For you are the only reason I love...
the only reason I have a heart.

To taste the bittersweet nectar of thy lunar lips.
Lie me hope, sing to me the song of the helix.
Proffer me the chance to breach thy bastion,
encompass thee in my love and compassion.
Sanction me to be that one whispering love stories
in thine ear while bathing in the Aurora Borealis
dazzling and clear.
You and I, a rickety tent and a love nothing less of
heaven sent.
In mine heart thou shalt forever remain.
My panzer maid grant me...the fall of rain.
She wants me to kiss on her petals of lips
For which she is ready to give all the tips
This is how beautifully takes me in grips
Love has been reinvigorated to take trips

When I embrace her warmth touches soul
Love and beauty mingle from pole to pole
In ecstasy and passion I just forget my role
Heaven dawns on me when she offer whole

Has love witnessed such charm of beauty
Where love and beauty are just totally free
In a state of trance she surpasses every sea
How I state what fortune of love could be

She walks upon the glass
Forced to maintain a smile,
With the spectators on the sidelines
Chanting mile after mile.

Every step grows
More painful than the last.
Her soul slowly draining
Through the wounds of her past.

Nobody ever told her
The road was paved with glass.
All they ever said was,
"This too shall pass."

That's not a fair warning
And she's too far to turn back.
So she just continues to bleed
Letting her heart turn black.
For my daughter and all of those that suffer from depression.

Some people smoke
Some people drink
Some people do drugs
And others fall in love

They all die in different ways

I’ve never been good with goodbye’s
This one would hurt I knew
I don’t remember the date
When the finish line ran to you.
Your skin was softly dimming
Your grip was weakening too
I do remember the weather
When the finish line ran to you
The may flowers were blooming
The sun shined in the room
But I swear the floor caught every tear
When the finish line ran to you
Its like I could see Jesus
Smiling down at the view
He knew that you would see him
When the finish line ran to you
Midnight saw your last breath
So did the lit up moon
There was a celebration in heaven
When the finish line ran to you
So grandma I hope you hear me
Singing our old favourite tunes
I was still on the sidelines cheering you on
When the finish line ran to you.

You are the book that everyone tells me not to read.
You are the worn book in the darkened corner of the library that sits on the highest shelf.
But is it wrong that my heart is drawn to the darkness and deepness of what I know that I cannot have, to feel the desire and give into the temptation to climb the mountains of worn oak to reach you.
You, my dear, are the leather bound, Scarlett-lettered memoir that I want to pick up, grasp in my hands, and open.
I want to learn about what they say is forbidden.
I want to read what I'm not supposed to want.
I want to know you.

After all of this,
I want you to promise,
Please don't leave me,
And I want you to be honest.

I caught you many times,
Over and over,
Just don't leave me,
As failure comes closer.

I heard you say "yes",
It echoed in my mind,
As I turn around again,
It looks like you lied.
Why......?
