Boy meets girl,
Gives her a whirl,
Log on, take selfie,
Update fakebook,
Thumbs up, look!
Had breakfast, look!
Update fakebook,
Went to the gym, look!
Update fakebook,
Now we're gym junkies,
Upload selfies,
Update fakebook,
Thumbs up, look!
Now we're wed,
Enough said,
Update fakebook,
Thumbs up, look!
Shall I kiss the bride?
Not fair, fat and wide!
First, update fakebook,
Thumbs up, look!
Now we've got kids,
Marriage on the skids,
Oh, man, that's bad,
Divorce selfies, too sad,
Update your fakebook,
Thumbs down, look!
Our 21st Century,
Celluloid selfies..........
All part of progress. Feedback welcome.

Don’t swear at that reflection of the clouds upon your screen,
That burst of light from high above obscuring what has been,
You do not need to know what everyone has done or seen,
Nor do you need to follow where the crowd might go or lean.

Don’t dwell on flawless selfies or the posts of yesteryear,
The past can be forgotten without cause for doubt or fear,
You are more than the sum of every shared smile or tear,
More than the likes and comments of those strangers you hold dear.

Don’t live within the memory of a plastic-coated dream,
That manufactured happiness worth less than it may seem,
You have a brighter purpose than your state of mind might gleam,
A chance to change your future if you let the light redeem.

Don’t spend another minute on a pixelated lie,
The truth is just above you in the azure coated sky,
You only have this moment to live before you die,
So step away from all that’s fake and give real life a try.
i found a faith in the word
i couldnt find any other way
talking to myself or the wall
to while the days away
now im finding old friends
again
i find have nothing left to say
my whole mind is laid bare
right here
so i can just quote what i wrote
over thousands of lonely yesterdays
the word is mine
Well, what can I say?
I played a show not long ago
And it’s been playing on my mind
You see what i love to do
remains true to me
and helps me to unwind

So Let’s be kind
and rewind just a little...

I have to remember I can’t please everyone
Sometimes I wish my heart wasn’t so tender
And I sometimes I wish I could
JUST
PLAY
DUMB

It’s on the tip of my tongue,
But I just can’t put my finger on it,
It’s like I’ve got an itch on my nose,
One that grows and grows,
and then again no one knows about it,
why I post such a negative thing on FakeBook,
Cos i’m so hooked on that one thought,
That’s brought me to my knees,
Posting on Stutterbook seems like my only release,
And then I think to myself...
Wait a minute!
THIS is MY way of life
No one else’s!
I am NOT doing this for them,
I am doing it for me
As long as I love writing
As long as I love producing
As long as I love performing
And even recording
And rehearsing

I now have a better understanding
of what hard work means
Blood, sweat and tears
Something that takes years and years
I’m happy to mention all my fears are fading,
Erasing all my doubts I had as an artist
well, I could’ve just said carthasis,
But I just had to look on google translate
so I can demonstrate to you
That I am always learning
Yearning to get better and better
Cos like I mentioned earlier
This Is
MY way of life

Under a hermit sky you sit
The roof has fallen in and the poem
Begins.
But your not reading the quest
Answering only questions
You like the best.
There's a boy crossing a river
So you decide to fall in
Chasing the dog as he swims.

On the river bank someone calls
And for a minute
You decide to revise.
Taking a pencil to write some lines
Like 'I'm extremely bored'.
You attempt to comply
But all the words flake
On the black and white screen.
At least you don't have Fakebook.

Love Grandma
For Milo love Grandma

Hope the revising is going ok.xxxx
