The stars
The dark
The silence
The empty streets
The night

While I dance in the cold
Music taking me over
All of them
In their wonder
Are on my side
(this note was written by the world if it was on 2x speed and the one hamster going really fast of the wheel had a pet magenta iguana)

Well,
I may not have many friends,
Pick my skin until it can't stop to bleed
Have a father that makes me want to kick and scream
And have anxiety
But hey,
At least the sky looks pretty!
I was in the car talking to my mom today about life and kind of sad angering topics and then I saw the sky and said "the sky is pretty today" randomly.

(This note was written by the letter z because she feels left out)
Wisdom spills like morning light
From youthful lips untouched by spite,
Pure and simple, crystal clear,
With virtue adults long to hear.

Why is the sky grey and blue?
Why is there a shadow over the moon?
Questions that we've long forgotten,
Wrapped in wonder, freshly gotten.

They see the world with untrained eyes,
No filters yet to cloud their skies,
No prejudice to dim their sight,
Just raw perception and pure delight.

In their logic, direct and true,
Lives the insight we once knew,
Before the world grew complicated,
Before our minds were educated.

So when curious children do speak,
Their random thoughts, pure and unique,
For in their words, both odd and sage,
Lies innocence that vanishes as we age.

You can only weigh the smoke
after the ashes.

You can only measure the man
after the tears.
Walter Raleigh had a wager that he could weigh the smoke from his piped tobacco.  Look it up - he won the bet by weighing the ashes.
I’m not fragile
I’ve just been broken
So many times before
That the glue is unable to hold.
I’m not fragile, am i?

And then the night comes –
she smells of fog
and secrets,
with stars looking down from above
and remaining silent.
Every person I've met has their own demands and whims directed at me.
I always regard them with forgiveness.
But they can't understand this
they fuss, thinking I see them as empty space.
I simply possess great willpower.

Perhaps a damp sponge
Will wipe night terrors-

Expunge trace of Moon
To slip beneath Sun

Erasing memory, making
Flat a sorry curvature

Of this rough-edged,
Rotating ball.

Trading a violence of
Sapiens

For the calm of
Shimmering Dawn
