She was in green, like the approaching springs

Her allure like the blooming flower it brings
A short think image poem.

Soothing inhalation of love's pink air
stokes red the furnace of my drumkit heart
beating. Beating concordant thoughts that snare
rhythmic hums that crescendo to kick start
the exalted exhalation of love.
Passing melody escapes parted lips,
a caged-bird free, singing of hope above
insecurity's storm: writhing tempest
that returns solemn to mindful eddies,
where tired souls find compassionate solace
in that rest between breaths, for once at ease
with realities of life's great promise.
Love's warm caress thaws shadowed doubts of mine;
with broken earthly bonds, praise my Divine!

Once they leave your life
they never quite leave your memory
like peter pan
never quite changing
or older
never quite coming home
lost in the neverland of memories
never to be seen again
just like a ghost

Dear rain lovers,

Come, let us enrich
our souls with
the love droplets
pouring from the sky.

Bravery and strength
She broke the hourglass of grief
Knotted dreams unravelled
With pretty shades of purpose
The moon, her poems as witness

And she danced to the gorgeous melodies of the ocean waves.
Echoing grace in her courageous and forgiving heart.
Retrieving what she lost in the darkest cave of the past.
A song of promise
to her most bearing self.
All the love that she deserves.
Everything she forgot
to give herself
before.

She was absolutely in love
with life, self-contained and happy.

"What took her away from herself?"
she wondered.

The voice inside screamed,
"You're not you."

Without knowing the answers,
she curled herself up
with hatred and anger.
