Each night you wear a different face
Slightly changing day by day

The ocean tides; The river banks
Pulling and pushing me away

Eventually you will soon fade
Watching above from a faraway place

Fumes outline your porcelain lips
Making it hard to forget

The sunrise slips through my window blinds
Chorus of chirping birds and their melodies
My heart enlightened , I’m fully awake
I then begin to contemplate
Staring through an empty cage

Winter, cold and still
Blood splatters powdered white feilds
Fawn shivers in fear

Hope is kind
It shows in her smile
And when she laughs
It makes her all worth while

I like the sun, it illuminates the warmest light
I like the stars, I can gaze upon them hours at a time
I like you, more than the sun and stars combined
You shine the brightest in my night sky

Honey pooled eyes
Hair chesnut golden
The sun shines upon you
As if you are chosen

Sins we all contain
Engraved, so not forgotten
Pleading to be saved

Sakura trees bloom
Graves covered in soft petals
You left me too soon

I roam freely here
A sanctuary of hope
Only in a dream
