This heart I hold can't hold me back from you.
loving you to lose you
Don’t tell me that you love me and then go cheat on me
Don’t tell me that you’re going home and then go to a party
Because finding out the truth from someone else hurts more than finding out the truth from you
I’m so sick and tired of
being lied to
the most beautiful thing
that god does
to people

is that he gifts them

to each other.
dedicated to all the people god has gifted me with.
especially those reading this, that know this.

Let me fall, oh love!
Tonight I shall not triumph in your lonely desire.
Neither shall I choke myself in thy voided air,
Or set my fragile heart on blazing fire.
Haven't you counted the stars
When moon didn't appear in thy sky?
Then why not set free my captive soul
As I spread my wings to the moon and fly.
And then I shall promise you, my love
The moon will paint thy darkened sky,
Nevertheless your lonely desires prevail
Only thy voided soul find serenity as she flies!

helia
clouds darken the sky
with their endless rain
foreboding silence
settles and blankets

yet through the despair
of those who cry woe
a brightness pours through
unabashedly

a ray of sunshine
does your dear heart hold
thank you for shining
your light down on me

your endearing warmth
melts away my doubts
like so much piled snow
making way for spring

i've known the summer
and its blazing heat
its fun adventures
for all of my life

yet your cool nature
and slow gentle winds
it incites in me
a new sense of peace
for my beloved sun.

I watched a worker strenuously wipe the water-stained glass door, this Monday.

I walked past a building wet with rain; the patterns were a graceful grey.

I watched an old lady, seated in the passenger seat of her car, draw smileys on her window.

I walked, trying not to step on a million little watery crevices on the sidewalk.

With water stains, everything has come alive.
