Find a Poet Not a poser, not a "it's just a hobby" poet. Find one who mumbles lines as they scramble for a pen at breakfast; who shakes their head randomly when their thoughts aren't rhyming properly;  who has notebooks stashed around the house that you must never touch.
2. Listen Savor the spoken words, for those are harder to express. Keep in mind that they can't be edited and re-written, and be forgiving when a mistake is made.
3. Read The body speaks as loudly as words on a page do. When their eyes are closed or focused on the ceiling and the fingers are tapping out syllables, recognize the unique process. Respect the need for quiet, because if you look closely, you can read the poem on their face before they write it on the page.
4. Write Write your story together. Grab hold of the pen and hang on as you move across the page of life. Sometimes you will dance across, others you will be dragged. You may have to cross out a word, or a line, or a page, but don't give up. Discouragement is a poet's biggest enemy, inarticulateness their biggest fear. So end each day with a semi-colon, because the story will never end the way you think it will, and there must be room for more. There is always room for more, more words, more laughter, more tears, more love,
When you love a poet.

We live in cardboard castles
and play games where we set ourselves on fire

We stack our house of cards
so we can try to catch the kings as we knock it down

We wear armor made of spun glass
and throw ourselves off of bridges just to watch it shatter

We like to smile and pretend that we're okay
and sometimes it even works.

Cut your teeth
on gasoline,
white lies, small death
and saccharine.

Hollow chests,
empty smiles.
thoughts and hearts
will stop a while.

Cold hands,
cold hearts.
we're dangerous children
with poisonous darts.
One who is unwilling to help Oneself cannot be helped.

Before money

We used to
Trade with
Goods

Something like
A clay *** for
A bag of rice

After the existence
Of money

Every transaction
Linked directly or
Indirectly with
Money

You know what
We ourselves
Created money

from King to
An ordinary
Person

It rules everyone

Values
Worth
Status

Comes with
Money

What if one day
Money dies

I too had no idea

But, barriers will
Be

Broken

And life

Will start
To adapt
To a new Era
This thought

May be what many

Of us had

Deep rooted

Actually from comments
I had come to
A conclusion
The greed of man
Has to die instead of
Money
In terms of metaphysical well-being,
do not attempt to find external solutions to internal problems.

Though external solutions may, at best, catalyze opportunities,
they tend to serve as a temporary comfort or distraction
rather than a cure for the nature of the problem at hand;

A "bad mood"
is a great opportunity
to tune your Consciousness.

Life is full of those moments;
the purpose of them
is to learn from them
and grow.

Look outward for information.
Look within for understanding.

Actualize your Godself.
Thinking of a Flower as beautiful
and then killing it so as to possess it
is a symptom of our destructive vanity
and greed.

Let it be,
and it will live it's life,
and it will still be there to see tomorrow.

And/or, better yet,
replicate it via Art:
thus can it be elevated unto immortality.
Read between the lines
if ye be so inclined.
A good
spur-of-the-moment Decision
all too oft turns out better
than oh so many more
made with far too much deliberation.
Trust your instincts,
but don't rule out that you could be wrong.
A fourth-rate Mind
wants to be the big fish in a little pond
without realizing there's a bigger pond.

A third-rate Mind
is the big fish in a little pond
keeping other fish from leaving the little pond.

A second-rate Mind
wants to be in the big pond
but has too much self-doubt to try.

A first-rate Mind
realizes it doesn't really matter which pond it's in
and tries to grow regardless.
Following a whim~

A variation on a theme.
