Would Elvis and John Lennon
still be singers
if they were born 25 years ago
I have many friends,
Some weird,some not.
Some I haven't seen,
Some I see a lot.
Some are funny,
Some are nice.

Some act without thinking,
Some think about it twice.
Some make me laugh ,
Some laugh at my jokes,
Others my parents can easily provoke.

Some are always late,
Some are always on time,
Some find me amazing ,
Cause I can rhyme,
Some are good.

Some are bad,
But to sum things up,
They're the best friends I've ever had.

Sad? Don’t eat.
Upset? Grab a drink.
Hell, do both
And try not to think.

Stay up late? Work in 2 hours.
Angry? Get laid.
Do whatever it takes
To get yourself paid.

But in the end, don’t worry about me.
This too will pass, because I want to be free.

I don’t write poetry.
But your name rhymes with sky
and it rolls in my mouth.
I don’t write poetry.
But I still feel your hand on my hand
as if your thumbs left indents.
I don’t write poetry.
But our hips brushed at the stoplight
and I couldn’t say Go.
I don’t write poetry.
But the names of those men
sound all wrong in your throat.
I don’t write poetry.
But you hugged me too long
and I never wanted to leave.
I don’t write poetry.
Because when I mumble the words, I like you,
The words can never do justice for what I really feel.

Wanderer
keeps me in a trance
somewhere between consciousness
and dreaming
I lay there
replaying every moment
        we spent together
reliving every sweet moment
        our bodies touched
and I still wonder
why I wasn't good enough for you
Chancellor
sings a bird in the open
sings too a caged bird

one to forget the pain
the other to make its freedom heard.
