They guided her,
They were friends since she made their acquaintance,
She didn't know all of them,
But the ones she did, she knew them well,
And guarded them fiercely,
For in the times they lived in,
They were abused, brutally abused,
Stripped off their meaning, bastardized
And she couldn't stand it
To her, they represented so much more than a space filling sound,
And using them inappropriately, would just not do
They were her comrades,
Her support system,
They answered questions,
- She couldn't ask,
They questioned ideas,
- She thought unquestionable,
They fooled her some times,
But never by their intention,
She played with them,
Weaved one of a kind garments out of them,
And gifted them to the ones she really loved, like a specially knit sweater,
They kept her warm,
They kept her content,
They kept her hungry,
~ Words
Only words,
Are all that she had...
To do so much more,
Than take your heart away
Some times we say as an expression, "words failed me", but more often than not, we're the ones failing words. Use them wisely.
The first words spoken
May not have been this
Evolved over the centuries
What would we do without words?
They are ubiquitous-
In our thoughts
In our minds
In our expression
In our eyes
In our soul
In the scripts
In science
In the folklore
In the myths
In the mysteries
In the signs
In the poetry
In the prose
In philosophy
In the cave drawings
In the hieroglyphs
Words evolved and added
By the Bards of yesteryear
From whom we have inherited
Many new we have coined
Reading their words of wisdom
Words give solace
Words sometimes hurt
Our dreams have words
And words shall remain
Passed on through scripts
And through oral tradition
Carrying the rich heritage
For centuries to come
Above all, speak words that heal
And tales of mankind's bonhomie!
A silent rendition,
A drama of humans with their brains,
Dire consequences of a guiltless game,
Loosing oneself to this endless paranoia.
Provocative minds, useless disjunctions,
Fanciful  conjectures, truth less indignities.
Welcome to the Human Condition.
Welcome to Earth,
Our Alma Mater
Third Planet from the Sun,
Wherein humans,
Bountiful, Knowledge seeking,
Long for The Truth
To set them free.

Hello stranger
Hide your anger
Love is a bliss
Let go your priciple please...

I found Love in your eyes
Say it... Say you love please try...
I love you I can't lie
You're  my heart till the day I die...

Ohh I try I try I did try...
For years it seems
Couldn't break the concrete wall
Built around your blinded heart
Your heart has been freezing too long
Your  frozen heart ...
Would hammer it hard...
but..
I'd rather it melts one day...
For true love sake..

I might be a fool to hope
The truth hurts really deep
For a hundred years to come
So it seems...
We can't be lovers
We can't be friends
We become strangers
Strangers till the end...

You wrote in a book
That I will again stand up
After my death,
Where there will no sigh to fly on the autumn air

And you told me
That she will smile again
Where there will be a captivated full moon that will play with her rectangular eyes

And there will be played a long summer
That should be risen again in a mystical sweeten,
As the kissed when my love was just only sixteen

Again you said to me
After death, her beauty will never die
Where there will be a lovely haven on her lips
And her simple kiss that I will be missed through a thousand of years long

Love is immortal.........
He had no idea if he would...
If he could actually do it...
When the time came,
When his sergeant gave the nod,
Let slip the dogs of war,
Unleash the copper bees,
Send missiles hurtling up or down
At targets moving now...
On men who may be wondering
If they could fire the same,
When the time came....

"Steady, men!"
"On my command."

He lay there,
On a roof,
In a ditch,
On an open field,
Crouched inside a turret,
Bellied down in a plexiglass ball,
Hurtled above a world mostly covered in cloud,
Standing far below the earth in silo'd steel,
Seeing still, through satellite eyes....

Peered into the mil dot scope,
Ignored the cross
To see through the center,
Found the circled aperture,
Punched coordinates into a seeing machine,
Saw green circles on the screen...
Aligned the circles....
Tried to breathe.

So that was how it was
For farm boys, Mowers of hay,
Grocers' sons, smashers of ants,
Carpenters, hammerers of nails,
And bakers' boys, cutters of bread,
Just in from shooting marbles and BB guns,
Transported into war,
Fed soldiers' ration:
meat and bread and beans,
Five cigarettes apiece in boxed MREs,
Sent off to **** and to be killed
With mothers' tears still fresh upon their cheeks,
With lovers' ache still glowing embered heat.

Training fresh,
Waiting command
To fire only when the order came...
To remain firing til the order came...
To hold the breath and squeeze...
To hold the sight just so...
To squeeze...
And to reload
Keeping head low,
Eyes on target...
To ignore all but the sergeant's yell,
To think of squeezing on new targets,
To wait awhile to process coming hell....

And when the time came,
He squeezed,
Felt the sudden life,
Heard little but the sound of
Clean ejection ...
Saw his bullet,
Saw his missile,
Saw his target meet,
And in the meeting,
Red,
And in the meeting ,
Fire and smoke,
And in the meeting
Knew  that he could do
What soldiers do.

This boy
Now cutting hay,
Now stomping ants,
Hammering nails,
Cutting loaves of cooling bread...
Caught in the maelstrom of war
With no moment left but now,
No possible tomorrow...
Only targets,
Only targeted
In ferocious winds
Of battle.
This is a work in progress. For some reason, I can't see a draft feature this morning on the iPad.... Is this an issue with IOS8 update?
It gives you the rank
             makes you stood high
             creates your confidence
             and keeps you in mind...
Turns your head around
It may be a good one
but it makes your Ego corrupt your mind...
There was this night
when I was trying to study
Mama came into my room
  with a cup of coffee

As I reached for the cup
it was as warm as her embrace
made me feel
like I'm in the safest place

And as I took a sip
  it was bittersweet
reminded me of life
the trials and success that I would meet

As I finished it
  I knew that I have
all her tender care
  and genuine love

But now that she's far away
I wish that I would see
my Mama by the door
and her warm cup of coffee

--
though i may not say it that often, though we may not be that close, you're my mama -- i love you.
