Venny
She was rotting from the inside. A piece here and there. A smile on her face, downing the bubbling medicine in her champagne glass A decaying mannequin. Holding up her freshly manicured hand calling over for another dose to get through the mundane conversation surrounding her being and malfunctioning mind.  Gifting fake smiles and dead twinkles of the eye. A prisoner of the silver spoon. An apple dying to fall far from the tree. The mental patient living in a mansion. And as she excused herself from the table she realized this was her only reality. She would never be free. Her destiny was to be only a pawn, a collectible in the bourgeoisie.
They'll write journeys of you,
within the depths of their eyes,
They'll think of you often,
and remember all times,
They'll paint passion,
with the sweep of their pen,
They'll feel deep, evocative spirits,
when voices relay what silk sheets have penned,
They'll tell of your kisses,
how they taste sweeter than wine,
They’ll tell of lips soft as clouds,
And tongues passionately sword fighting,
They'll speak of your flaws,
as if they are perfection,
They'll walk you into new worlds,
and seize hold of your heart,
They'll scribe their innermost desires between lines,
and grasp onto your soul,
They'll tell of your softness,
and how your skin favors silk,
They'll tell of your scent,
sweet and inviting,
They'll tell of your taste,
as tongues beg for nectar,
They'll speak of faith,
and the linking of two beings,
Fall in love with a Poet,
to be loved endlessly.
Fall in love with me and I will never let you forget that you are loved.

I should've loved a tree,
Strong, tall and fierce,
Roaring through me,
(But I had to love you.)

The tree and I could make a pact,
To lay together awake,
(But I had to lay with you.)

To love the sky would be a thrill,
Grey, blue, black, yellow, pink, red,
You were like a cloud,
(But I loved the clouds too.)

I tried to love a bottle,
To tip liquid on it till it swam,
Bitter sweet on my tongue,
(But you tasted better.)

Maybe I'll love the sea,
Cool and dark and swirling in mystery,
(And I'll love the waves forever.)

I do not speak in sombre tones
Not for me the gentle echo
Hushing through hallowed halls
I shall growl my way to the grave
Be ****** to the insignificant
And to hell with the indifferent
There are no rules or rulers
There are only fools and foolers

I need no-one else's straight lines
I have imagination enough to swerve
And spite enough to spin
Snapping snarling and seditious
Spitting venomous and vicious
Flamed by the world's injustice
And humanity's indifference
Not until I am dead burned and scattered
Shall I rest assured
