The feeling of being soaked by the rain while listening to a sad song is enticing,
But have you ever run around in the rain listening to something uplifting and simply feel it?

I love the rain
When I'm mad and sad
When I'm happy and excited
The cool drops animate me and make me feel alive
I'm doing my best

I'm falling in love with the little things

my playlist plays another sad song
outside the rain is falling down
the rain feeds the plants
they are growing up

i fell like growing up
when i spend my time with you
thinking of nothing else
just our souls
connecting to each other

your dark brown eyes they are so shiny
like the moving flame of a candle
i want to touch your hand
but i don't know if you ok with it

tell me
East Wind Oct 2018
Tears,
crystal clear like the springs
Pouring in downward motion
salty like the ocean...
I want to go up and away
anywhere from today
Because
I feel sadness echoing
    my thoughts trolling
      my sprit crawling
I am back with the sad songs again
     dancing with my demons again
        whirling through emotions therein
I think life is,
twisting me up like a chord and
minor chords keep playing in my soul.
I probably can't use therein there but oh well...Here is to the dreary times when all we do is sit, sip, and cry.

There were words once.
Meant to be heard and said across
various distances, sometimes
an eternity, seemingly, continents
pushed together into one, sometimes
a whisper, momentary, finally, lips-
they say things that very often mean
nothing. Nothing she says. What's wrong he asked.
Many things. Nothing at all. You press play
and something sings in your ears and you
wait for another flight to somewhere.
Nowhere feels everywhere at once, always,
which is why we built these planes. Sometimes
out of paper. As a child I did those things.
Watched how they gleamed across the tops
of my eyes- never too far they went.
What a title! right?
