Scrutinizing eyes
All staring at her
They call her a ****
Because she smells
of cigarette and lust
**** society
A smell doesn't tell
The whole story
When did it become a standard???

I want to buy a typewriter
Knowing that I don't need one, it escapes my mind
Instead this website.
Sad things written by sad people.
I came to read poetry.
Not a couple of lines basically saying
"Woe is me!"

**** this site
And it's system.
Yet I'll still bite
For that small, meaningless sensation
Of gaining another follower.

What I Feel Sep 2017
Dear Generation X,
Please take a step or fifteen back,
if that is what it takes to make you see
that some of you are thoroughly misjudging me.

Dear Generation X,
Please stop sh-tting on me when you
see me in a low-paid job because you
think that I'm uneducated, when in fact I'm
earning my own money to help fund my education.

Dear Generation X,
Please don't patronise me every
time I raise my voice with an opinion
of my own, prepared to eloquently argue
up against others more than twice my age, restraining my
own temper so that I remain polite, whilst condescendingly
you reply with "you're a little brat" who should "f-ck off and find her manners."

Dear Generation X,
Please refrain from moaning about
how the youth of today's generation
never have anything intelligent to say
when you place gags in our mouths, or that we're all too thick-skulled
and should go back to school, whilst simultaneously shouting at
us all to "get a job" and "buy a house", when many of us are drowning
in student loans, granted for gaining the knowledge needed to bag a "decent job."

Dear Generation X,
Stop trapping me.
Something that has been playing on my mind for a while.
This poem is not aimed at everyone older than me, but those people who act superior and insist on berating me and others from my generation about our lives. I know many awesome people who are classed as 'Generation X', and this poem is not meant to offend you.
In truth, this poem is not meant to offend anybody, but is instead intended to educate a few people about how a lot of young people feel about how they are treated.

Syllables increase by 2 each line.

I'm tired of traffic
I'm tired of sleepless nights ... literally
I'm tired of alarm clocks
I'm tired of people littering
I'm tired of homeless people asking me for money
I'm tired of feeling like I owe them compassion
I'm tired of greedy, scumbag, politicians spewing their rhetoric
I'm tired of mouthpiece figureheads inhabiting every news outlet
I'm tired of news in general. It always seems to be ****** anyway
I'm tired of people who believe the earth is flat
I'm tired of the earth not being flat, so I can't push said people from the edge of it
I'm tired of people spreading their religions like cancer
I'm tired of every coffee shop conversation ending in a failed pyramid-scheme recruitment
I'm tired of murderers, rapists, and other delusional ***** sharing my precious oxygen
I'm tired of the fact we can't just feed them to endangered sharks
I'm tired of being expected to care
I'm tired of my failure to begin smoking cigarettes. God how I idolize them
I'm tired...
So I guess I'll get some rest

Rant on, my fellow stranger poet
who speaks with negative rhyme.
Rant, till the sun stops to shine.
and rains come, if you desire.
Rant, as my ears open
to hear your saga
in hopes a space in mind will open,

Come do hear what I have learned
as old age embraces me,
and my stride is slow.

"It is all in ones perspective.
whereby changing the thought,
changes the scene."
I whispered gently like wind.

"The day is filled with opportunity
to rise with sun to dance
and push away the clouds."
I echoed, hugging with eyes
the thin tall figure.

I stood with cane and intention
to anchor my words in his heart.
before continuing again.

"Its time to take the pieces of puzzle woes
and turn them around if you choose."
the wise sage said.
"For the road is wide
with so much to experience.
So much to connect to
when one awakes to the
Divine being inside."

""Oh to align to hear music of love
in this temporary construct of a lifetime
is a grand thing."
A grand thing,
as I turned, bowed and walked away.
