Oh now here she comes in hot pursuit,
Unaware of her presence just behind me,
She surprises me as I feel wet on my hand.

She is on all four limbs of hers,
Under my left hand she sneaks,
Oh she starts licking it hungrily.

Moving in the calf section,
I feel really close to heaven,
For every calf here is so cute.
I am loving this summer training after my 1st year of Master of Technology course in Animal Biotechnology has gotten over.

We are assigned in groups of 5-6 people each to a different group of animals.

My classmate from high-school,
Roll number 57 - Mohit Kamboj,
Is the coolest & the most freaky.

I have not seen anyone as awesome,
In their give & take with the teacher,
He made the class laugh effortlessly!
I was in Kendriya Vidyalaya (Central School), Karnal for my high school years and it was here that I made friends with some unforgettable people.

I miss each one of them.

The first buffalo IVFed in India,
And the world is named Pratham.

It was produced by Hand-Guided Cloning technique,
By the Animal Biotechnology scientists here at NDRI.

High precision was not enough,
100% accuracy was the need here.

But now they have developed techniques using micromanipulator,
Still it requires expertise and it's only a tad bit convenient & easier.

The youngest cloned buffalo born is named Rajat,
It is both alive since July 23, 2014 and also kickin' its keepers.
NDRI - the locally popular acronym for National Dairy Research Institute, is both my home since childhood and my M.Tech (Animal Biotechnology) Deemed University college.

Pratham means 'first' in Sanskrit.

Where's that girl,
Sweetheart of mine,
Young poetess of Amritsar,
The very same who trusts me,
Yes she loves me for lifelong,
She won't ever forget my love,
I won't forget that to her I belong,
She won't forget it either, or will she?
She won't ever forget, that I am hers,
I won't myself or let her let it slip,
She panics about future a lot,
Yes night-out will be rainy,
This night won't be alone,
Youthfully we will share it,
So close it seems I say,
Was it yesterday?

She will ask me when,
I'll tell her with a smile,
'Back at that time when you were doubtful,'
I'll just be hugging her,
She will blush purple.
My loving fantasy for you my love
