In my wallet, rummaging
will this one decline?
- panicked, next in line
-
beach seagulls
chasing one other
the sunset follows
-
sobbing clouds
storm off
in a fit of pique
Red Bergan Jul 2020
Stress..
Is a powerful poison.
It's toxin seeping through your veins.

It causes exhaustion.
Fatigue.
And pain.

This poison,
Is only cured.
By one rule.
On the board.

Solutions,
To solve your happiness.
Your world.
-
Mom neatly packing
Leftover rice - down the road
Orphaned ducklings await dinner
-
strip mall church
selling rosaries
and hope
sidewalk ants
faire la bise
- celebrate spilt soda
Lyn-Purcell Jun 2020

White rush, wings and flesh
Hearts beat fast in lust and ******
Godseeds in the eggs

This poem is inspired by the myth of Leda and Zeus
Mythology will always have a place in my heart!
I may turn this also into a series, I'll let you all know when I do!
Be back soon with more!
Much love
Lyn 💜

mourns the passing of the day

What should I write about today?
Love, death, or foreplay?
It’s all the same
