I asked him what happened
He was just silent
He gave a me shrug
He was still.

Perhaps I didn’t deserve an explanation
He doesn’t have one
Couldn’t make one
Or can’t put it into words.

Though he stares blankly
The pain resembles in his face
It’s not the kind of pain that perishes after a good sleep
Nor the one that goes away after having a good time.

It’s one that is deeply rooted
Right into the core of his being
Consuming him
Almost taking over.

Only time will tell
Of whether this pain will ever be healed
I pray that he does not wither
And will never let go of his will to survive, to live, to love, to be free.

May he overcome the storms gracefully
May he see sunrise after these long dark days
May he recover the happiness he has long forgotten
May he feel unconditional love once again.

A love so pure and true
That even time and distance cannot faze
A love burning and alive within
Engraved in the soul of another being
Separate but as one
Two wholes yet tied infinitely
A fate
A destination
A home.

I belong to the water
The sea it calls my name
It owns me
It takes me to different world
An escape to reality.

In the water
I forget your existence
I have no identity

Though I wish you were there with me
Coz I know we both love it.

Love is a timeless element.
It goes beyond distance and time
It is relative only to the emotions
Of the ones who are infected
It comprises of hopes and fears
Of sorrows and joys

Of pains and happiness
Of words and hymns
Of two people who happened to intertwine
their separate lives into one
Unconstrained yet not apart.

She needed you
She needed you to eat them shrimps
She needed you to get to places she's never been
She needed you to achieve her dreams and investment schemes
She needed you to stay upright and stand on her feet.

While I wanted you
Coz I can do all of these things even without you
But I want to do these things with you
You are my luxury while you're her necessity.
