Every time we're face to face
You make my heart race.
And even though this thing is new
I hope to spend a while with you.

Your kind words flow so well
They make my heart swell.
And even though I try to write
The words just don't sound quite right.

Oh how I've missed the sound
Of your laugh and voice around.
The short time we've been able to spend
Has been so great - I don't want it to end.

You see, if I were a tiny tree
You'd be the rain
That would wash away all my pain.

Along with helping me (the tree) grow-
You'd make me whole
Just like
you've awakened my soul.
The hopes of a small child is a powerful yet fragile wonder.
His will and optimism unmatched.
His heart's deepest lust for identity.

Identity.
In this huge, ever-forgetful, engulfing world.

Yet here lies another child's dream.
His passion.

As the earth revolves in an unending dance of mortal eternity.

Here lies another man's will to accomplish
Greatness.

For the acceptance of nothing.
I'm barely breathing
under all this water
I don't think you can keep me
alive for much longer

I can't drown myself
there isn't enough here
There isn't much else
that I can fear

besides dying without a goodbye
Innocence so fragile
Won’t last for a long while
Engulf yourself in this joyous ride
That will soon be washed away by the tide

Years later, when you are time worn
Let that innocence be reborn
Rewind back to those joyous rides
Before you’re hit by the last tides.

We grow old pretty fast and during this we sometimes forget to enjoy our lives which revolve around the chase for money and fulfilling responsibilities. You need a break after you have hit those goals in life and relax and make the most of your remaining life by enjoying yourself like you are a child all over again! :)
If home is
where the
heart is,
then why
do I feel
so misplaced
when I walk
through the
front door?
Sick of this feeling
When I was a girl
Id dine with the fairies in the garden
Laugh with gods over tea
But in the night the wind shook my heart.
