please dont touch my crown
the black rubies were encrusted by steve biko
madam cj walker made it a sign of royalty
blood was shed for this ***** hair
i am a servant to this crown, and i will show my loyalty.

please dont touch my crown
i can feel the curlism in your fingers
your greedy hands appropriate it for relevance
you have hated volume and colour for centuries
but now you see beauty where you once saw pestilence.

please dont touch my crown
let your eyes feast on the sight of true glory
forget about vanity, and hear our chains
taste our dry blood, smell our lynched bodies
but never touch our hair without remembering our pain.

I want to share my love so deep
If I gave you my heart
Would you give me yours to keep
Bringing us together across these miles
Filling this void with endless smiles
For eternal love never to part

Feeling your warmth is all I dream
Caressing all your love
Sent across this great big stream
A special feeling from way up high
Like the stars in the midnight sky
Together we’ll meet and bond our love

So when the day is finally here
And your standing by my side
I will whisper gently into your ear
And make it all so perfectly clear
Your the only one I would shed a tear
The thought of losing you tears me up inside

So keep my heart and hold on tight
There is no such word as never
Everything will all come right
Just know there will soon come a time
I will be yours and you will be mine
So think of us as love that lasts forever

Daisy Duke Danica Patrick dialogue

DANICA this is preposterous and an embarrassment to my career image

DAISY oh yeah ya think so

DANICA 1st off you’re simply a fictional character i’m a real live racecar driver 2nd you’re a hillbilly ***** who most likely had *** with both cousins Bo and Luke behind Uncle Jesse’s barn

DAISY who you calling a ***** you venomous ***** i did not have ****** relations with those boys (pause gaze averted)

DANICA bare-foot traipsing around Hazzard County dressed like a rural Dixie belle acting all ingénue

DAISY you ain’t got no manners woman were you raised in the south

DANICA Beloit Wisconsin then Roscoe Illinois for your bird-brained information

DAISY ya know in a vague way you owe me

DANICA owe you what you Appalachian Deliverance banjo ****

DAISY i was laying down rubber pedal to the metal gravel dust road in my ’74 yellow Plymouth Road Runner before you was ever born

DANICA what’s that supposed to mean granny i thought you drove a Jeep CJ-7

DAISY it means my fictional character put a seed in the mind’s eye i planted the thought of a female warrior on the racetrack you understand i trail blazed through Georgia back country all you are is just a graduated knock-off of me

DANICA you tawny scrawny pigeon-toed knock-kneed backwoods ****** wouldn’t know your *** from a hole in the ground behind the steering wheel of a Dallara chassis Honda engine open-wheel racecar and if you think i owe you then you must think i owe Janet Guthrie Lyn St. James Sarah Fisher also ***** you ***** *** rebel *****

DAISY girl you got a mouth on you bet you know how to use it in the dark i bet that’s how you got to where you are i know about those FMH pictures

DANICA what i beg your pardon i earned my stripes on the racetrack

DAISY on your knees with your mouth in the shape of 0

DANICA white trash redneck witch! i hate you

DAISY now Danica calm down remember to breath and remember i’m just a fictional character didn’t mean to ruffle your feathers so bad

DANICA all right ok maybe i was a little too hasty to judge and maybe we did just get off on the wrong foot you know Godaddy is looking for someone vintage yet lovely enduring like you

DAISY you’re sweet Danica but my acting days are done i think you look real pretty in electric lime green good luck at NASCAR but i think you do better at Indy that’s just my opinion

DANICA you just might be right Daisy i’m too independent can’t seem to get the hang of you bootlegging draft-racing good ole boys

DAISY amen

I am
so
grateful
for
those
who
listen.

Thank you all.

Sometimes
listening
might
just
save
a
life.

Might
be
the
invisible
offering
extended
enabling
one
to
hold on
for
one
more
day.

Jon York May 2012
I find your presence
a present
to the world and a gift to me
because you are unique
and one of a kind
because your life is
what you want it to be so
I take the days just
one at a time
as I sit here trying to write
you a rhyme.

I count my blessings
and you count yours
as you have been so blessed
because you make
it through whatever
comes along
and what is within you
is so strong.

You don't put limits
on yourself
and have so many dreams
to be yet realized
and you live a life of serenity
and not a life of regrets
so remember
that a little love goes
a long way and a lot of love
can go forever.

Remember that friendship
is a wise investment
and life's treasures
are people together and realize
that it is never too late
for us to do
ordinary things in an
extrordinary way.

Take the time
to wish upon a star
and don't ever forget
even for a day
how special you are
and know that our inspiration
comes not from
memories or experiences
that we have had in the past
but it comes from
within.

What sometimes
breaks us makes us
stronger
and in the end our strength
will be unbreakable under
any circumstances.                        Jon York                                  2012
