No words can bring me solace
Like the stillness of the night;
Save your breath
And just take mine away.
Those tiny buds blossom;
Like miracles,
Or prayers from the dead.
Uncurling like a baby's fist
White then pink then red.
I forgot how I missed
Those precious beads of life
A transient ode to the suns' first kiss
An end to unending winter,
death, and strife.
The start of new life.
Boats wait through tempests
Young lovers fly into squalls
Birds quarreling
Treasure in forest
Water dropping crystal beads
Dew on wild orchids
Lovers under moon
Iridescent eyes smiling
Starlight in wine cups
