no stone is colder
than a stone that's left unturned
afraid if we flip it over
we might just get burned

when there is no closure
the heart is only left to yearn
the pain never grows older
but becomes our main concern

VI~
Inward you know it's messed up.

Alone, you do things.
More often becomes most often.

Seeking the truth, you'll realize.
An ounce of tear won't suffice.
Dealing with it, you wish you know how.

Flowers bloom, the Winter thaw,
Outside the songbirds sing.
With the arrival of the bluebirds,
I know that it is Spring.

But listening to the bird’s songs,
And watching the flowers bloom.
I can’t but help myself,
For feeling a certain gloom.

For I find myself a bit jealous,
As the flowers start anew,
So often I wish I could do the same,
If I just knew what to do.

kenny
you broke my heart
into so many pieces
i’m still picking it up

it feels like shards of glass
threatening to puncture my lungs
or break apart my rib cage

part of me wants to beg for you
to come back to me
so we can figure this out

another part of me wonders
if i did get you back
would we even be in love anymore

You tell lies all the time
Before you realize,
That we're ****** up.

I know you always say:
Love in us is a must.

But Darling,
What is love without trust?

how do you get past the anger
how do you get past the rage
how do you finish the chapter
when you never turn the page

there is no happy ending
to that story in your eyes
let's go on pretending
that it's not me you despise

how do you get past the anger
how do you get past the rage
how do you finish the chapter
when you never turn the page

the words that are not spoken
are the ones that won't go away
yesterday that book was open
I am closing that book today
