Hit me hard and break my heart into a million pieces
Cause only then will you see how much its worth
Don't settle for a dozen scraps, a hundred, or a thousand
Strike with passion and leave a mess upon the earth

Then watch me as I pick up every piece that was scattered,
From the loftiest clouds they perched, and crevices they slipped
Now take them from my hand and hold it in yours all together
And feel the weight of the million pieces that you had ripped

I want you to see how they still mold and form the same original shape
How a million pieces could be reattached and still reveal a heart
Yet, do not mistake their lightness for instability or lack of focus
They can also be diamond tough; my soul is the fortress, while it, the rampart

Its not some plastic easter egg thats only as good as its design
Not a false brittle shell, with a hollow and empty core
Each piece accounts apiece, a full apple with no worm
Every heartbreak meant to make it, love even better, than before

So if you're looking for commitment, let that be the trial
I'm not promising it'd be easy, it can only be worth the pain
It's only in shattered hearts, that subtle thoughts are brought to light
Neither the first nor the last, but I'd repeat it all the same,

*If you're the one I'm about to gain.
Some heartbreaks can be devastating. Some are harder to recover, as some pieces flung farther are tough to find. You'll eventually pick the pieces of you heart all together again, it might just take a lot of time. The purpose of this poem was to shed a more positive light on that feeling. Heartbreaks remind me how human I am. I'm a sucker for that feeling, for shrapnels in my heart.

..
I think about you. All the time. Every second of a minute, every minute of an hour, every hour of a day, every day of a month.

Even right now in utter silence, with just the purr of the fan and the clicking of keyboard keys as I type are heard, you are in my mind. You are in my mind, and I wish - if it's only possible - that you'd fall from my head, just as how you are in my vision - angelic - to my arms so I can embrace you, place my head on your chest, and just drown all other noise as I eavesdrop to the thumps of your heart.

But I looked at my arms and what I saw is my pillow. My favorite pillow. The one I talk to when I very much miss you. The one I cry to when all I wanted is for your shoulders to catch my tears. The one that put me to sleep many a night as the idea of you float in my head. I close my eyes and think of you. And in my dreams you are smiling. In my dreams you said you do miss me too. In my dreams you never let me go until I stopped crying. In my dreams I am sleeping soundly beside you with your breath as my lullaby.

Then I'd awake. Open my eyes. And think of you again, almost involuntarily. 'Cause I cannot stop, and I think I never will.

I love you.

*I really do.

Live and never forget. Forgive, and never regret.
We all have loved, and love is all we have.
Never forget, never regret.
Yes, it happened. Now what?
Ask
If I asked
Would you answer...
If I begged
Would you accept...
If I cried
Would you belive..
If I told you
Would we...
Be lovers
In the same bed
Dreamers
That share the
Same cloud
Would my heart
Be yours
Forever
And would you
Give me your heart
To hold
For all time
Or would
These words
Written
Never be spoken
Never be answered
Never belived
And your kiss
Only a dream
Only a wish
Only a lonely fist
A missed chance
Time and again
Dreamt into something
More
Your skin
To never touch
Mine
Just empty sheets
In an empty bed
As I whisper
Your name
Myself seeps out
As lust and love
Tangle
But its not
You
On top
Of me
Just a
Mist
A ghost
A hope
Could I stop
Should I try
To end
This dream
And just
Accept
It only
Works as
A fantasy
Maybe
If I just told...
Maybe
If I just said...
Maybe
If I just ask...

xx
maybe, just maybe
if I die tonight
you'll wake up
missing my soul
and not my remains
hell. you are everywhere, every single where
i hate this so much.
you are everywhere and i hate this.
i hate you. at least i hope i do. i miss you though i never want to.

i could shut them conversations but how do i end those dreams?

if you didn't come to come why did you even come? why don't you leave
now that you're here to leave?

how am i supposed to cope with it every single freaking day?
and what about people who don't let me freely say.

i hate crippling like that and i know i don't want to die so
i know it will be okay but i don't want to take it anymore.
not a poem.
