The demons in my head
They're mine
Mine to fight

I don't need your help
You don't understand
You never will

The demons
They're multiplying day by day
And growing stronger

They're slowly eating my soul
Until I have none left
They're destroying my feelings

They're going to take over me one day
But until then,
I'm going to keep fighting

Fighting until they're out of my head
And somewhere else instead
There are demons in my head and I have no control over them.

Even through the midnight insomnia, drunken, drugged up death binges, I still remember your face. Don't think I'm lying, I still remember the taste of the salt in your tears. Soaking up your hopes and fears, what had I become.

Your death.
Your wake up call.
Your very last piece of failure.

Goodbye.

I have been malnourished
of good people
and good poets.
Sometimes I have high expectations from low end humans.

Sometimes it’s just there

That feeling in your chest,
like a dead weight being  dropped onto your lungs;
preventing you from gasping for that breath of fresh air.
That feeling of helplessness,
intercepts your ability to scream at the top of your lungs.

Sometimes it's just there.
I can’t explain what it feels like.
But if I had to try,
I  would say it's agony.
It's torment,
but absolutely remarkable.
Sometimes I feel like I'm just going under.
