One word
saved my life:
Enough

Loving you is like forgetting
That roses grow with thorns.
For all you gave me is
the sweet scent of a love
that never grows cold.
I wish all relationships were happy.
I told her there was very little of me left to love,
and with glassy blue-green eyes she replied
*There is enough
My body sounds like an ocean
Like waves kissing the shore
The way my flesh stretches round my bones
In an embrace that whispers “till death”
Like a lover who chooses herself
I have picked you over and over
And like the shoreline
I
Will
Never
Stop
Chasing
You
I waited three days
In hopes that your love
Would resurrect like Jesus did
But you're not strong enough
To move the boulder
Covering your heart.
And I'm not strong enough
To be Mary and wait for you.
How can You live
With All that wealth
When
Out there
On the same planet
Others
Struggle with little
To exist.

RICH  POOR
It is repetitive.

And WRONG!
An immediate conflict.
-
Now
all I think about
is you
and
some hope,

Hope
that tomorrows
will have
different
colors
.
