Where day and the moonlight kiss
Fire and silver steam up with a hiss,
She came at midnight, he came at noon
The sun was on fire, and so was the moon
Daylight and shadows are always at war,
And puddle at twilight, in gold on the floor

Taking two hands and a soul full of hope,
I hang over water, the seaweed like rope
It's true the sun sets not long from its rise,
But I've waited all day to see your true eyes

Of things you can see through; glass, air and me
The lies you've been told, still you can't see
So come to the water, where I hang like a cloak
And together, us two, we can mend what we've broke

In a land the others
Don't see,

Sits you and me
By the willow tree

Amid the birds,

Me and you
In a sea of shining dew

Diamonds cast like
Handfuls of pebbles;
Cascading brilliantly,
Flashing scintillatingly,
Weaving between the
Shining lemon beams of sun,
Slanting through the dream-like clouds,
To land in the sweet, soft,
Emerald, baby grass
Holding the shining dew aloft
