Freedom,
Like the rain, it washes all away
Past memories, horrors - everything is rinsed away; relief remains.
It feels like sand between your toes,
Leaving you lost in your impulsive throes.

Freedom,
In her dissolving smiles,
Her mischievous flirts,
Her sweet small skirts...

You've missed her for so long...

The touch of her spine,
The caress of her thighs,
The weightless good byes--

Ah! Freedom, *she smells like rain...
What makes a reader?

What makes a writer?

What compels anyone to the love of language?

Why do we not sing?

Why do we not play?

Why do we not paint?

What leads us to be so loyal to our craft?

There is a man who seeks new methods of relaxation, a man who can so easily slip into another man’s life.  There is a man who is enthralled by the mere re-telling of high tales.  A man who is quite an observer. A man who is logical (in one sense or another) and observes his plate well.  A man whom rests his faith on an influence and the good faith of escape.  A man who rests in the lines of paper, whether they be marked by blue or red ink.

He stood up,

With a vigor comparable to that of a bear.

In a rush, blood began to flood his veins.

They pulsated, and wound his fist back to a tightly-coiled projectile.

And eventually when the sun came to its final moment, he understood.  Long after his body will rot, his pen will continue to spill ink.  Long after he dies, people will continue to live.  Long after humans die, things will continue to die.  What could mean more than that?
stop ruining love by trying to make it last forever.
Enjoy it while you have it.
One lover's hand reaches for her
Lover's humble question,
Another's travels slowly across
The impression of her body;
Ghostweight on matress from
Miles away in mind and matter.

She embraces new scent,
Hands once bored now learn
Warmth and texture that once
Too will feel
Too familiar,

While another reaches for a quill
And another and
Another to write himself wings
That span
Across time and tragedy,
To fly him too close to the truth

Of why he never could write
Himself to
A safe landing on firm
Fact, but rather spin images of
Coloured in connections between
Dots to form elequent
Lies such as:

"I'll never want another,"
"This will scar my soul forever,"
"I cannot live wthout her,"
and
"She'll never want another."

A fading faint figure on the horizon.
Slow motion flash backs of days and
Days and days to slow, sensitive
Music. Yesterdays all, for my own good,
Completely and utterly

Out of my reach.
I'm getting happier about
It with
Every
Passing
Heartbeat.
Wah would I have never to see her again
Wah did I do to her  bleeding heart once then
Wah was it I did and yet did not too say so well
Wah was it and who's cast under who's casted spells
Wah baits and switches me quick in such which-eries
Wah was it unexpectedly now and then again again
Wah a pet up set up upset and talking is cheaper
Wah and phoning is phony for nothing dear
Wah more is dear more than riding her
Wah heart in arms eyes and all
Wah woman woman woe
Wah woe pony quake
Wah ride or earth
Wah shatters
Wah Q

I take roads much longer to travel
in my heart hoping they lead to you.

I find remnants of your heart splatters
whenever I'm not looking for them.

it seems you and I are born of the same dust and
find our wells full of inkstains and heart scrawls

yet, nothing to drink from;
nowhere to float down and settle over each other,
like the coming home seen in true love's stardust trails
written in the heavens

Why are we so lost?
Why cant we go forward without running back?

Jumping from star to star and falling back down
fading into another's atmosphere

Faultless in our ideas of love
yet unable to find a fold or a crease
that fits us corner to dog-earred corner

Falling stars making wishes that never come true

I Suppose it's the right thing to tear it all up
rather than let the characters of our love notes fade.

My impossible love,

You are also impossible to leave in any intangible way
Your soul speaks my language
your heart beats my song,
your ink draws mirrored designs on my heart spaces

We  fall on barren landscapes
carried away by the current and swirls of this life

I still hold the promise of the next in my hands
waiting for ashes to ashes and
finally dust resting on dust.
They burn up together...
If you could see life in my terms,

The song in my heart

over precarious waters

we two mad cap ruffians of love

Plucking the strings of Eros

From guitars that are not our own

And the song plays regardless

Lifting our love higher and higher

What wonderous sound the vibrato

Upon catching the thrum in the air

To kiss upon that half beat

A stolen moment from a highjacked concerto

Pulsing through our hearts

In beauteous trothes of midnight madness

When all the world is sleeping

And we dance together

Ethereal in our dreams

Our pirated fates

Aligned by birthright,

Forged in opposite directions

We at least have one small mercy,

Appeasing our guiding stars

through the thrum on the wind

Aligning in love upon our sails insignia of pain

of each scar in the fabric of our being

stretching across the seas of uncertainty

Let us ever meet in songs of love

By our agreement to the symphonia

of our hearts,

Through the ever winding

winds of love.
