I once saw a man with a lot of hair
Hair all over, hair everywhere

Just so much hair he could be called furry
I didn't take time to stare, I was in a hurry

But I glimpsed some hair on his ears
Though I spent no second pondering how he hears

Some around his nose and
some around his eyes
Much encroaching his mouth as if to say, don't tell lies!

His fingers had the most hair I've seen
I promise I'm not exaggerating just to be mean

As I glanced at the painting of the man with so much hair
I wonder if the artist's creativity was meant to stir fear

My faith is in my Jesus
My anchor is in Him.
When turmoil comes my way
His power is still within.
He keeps me through the bad times
And guides me through the good.
His love is always with me
On His promise I have stood.

My hope is in my Jesus
My life is in His hand.
The hope of life eternal
On His promise I will stand.
The hope of Joy in heaven
The hope of Glory above.
The hope that fills my soul today
Is because of His great love.

My love comes from my Jesus
And fills my heart today.
His love is overflowing
I have love to give away.
His love is still within me
His love is so divine.
I kneel before my savior
Grace and mercy’s always mine.

It’s by Faith, Hope and Love
I have come to Him today.
Can’t have one without the others
There is no other way.
My faith I keep in Jesus
My hope He will secure.
His love is always with me
With all three I will endure.

The greatest of these is Love.

Darling,
wear humility like a vest
it will keep you warm

wear truth like a badge
it will earn you respect

wear love like a crown
it looks good on you

I am a cold and hard man
Brutal, without mercy
You want a name?
Well, you can call me Percy
You can ask all you want
I won't give, unless you call in Tessy
She's my soft spot.

Close the curtains
On this last act
Call home the trains
Bring me back

Time has eloped
With my dreams
I've learnt to cope
On meagre means

Preach the truth
To he who hears
Dig up the roots
Bury your cares

Hide my letters
In an open box
Untie my fetters
Use all the locks

Life is a paradox
Running to its death
Watching all the clocks
To be the last one on earth.
I like the fact that I can have rhyme and beat even when I'm not exactly sure what I mean :-)

He stands with her when she's strong
She sits with him when he's weak
He's off to war. He won't be long
She'll wait for him. She's unique.
