My quill sings a story,

We deal with emotions
the ones, we can't suppress
words, in constant motion
poetically, expressed

The words we can,
We scream, shout or yell.
The words we can't,
We sit quietly and dwell.

The feel of synchronicity
a push, sometimes, a pull
not knowing what will, or may not be
a glass not empty, but yet, not full

Were her eyes blue?
I can't remember.
Was it hot or cold,
August or December?
Did she have green eyes?
I still can't see her.
She's long gone,
Just like the weather.
Maybe she had brown eyes,
Just like leather.
But now she's left,
Maybe its for the better.
No she had gray eyes,
I wrote her a letter.
It got sent right back,
With a return-to-sender.

I was brought here by a star,
One that I had rode on from afar.
Here on this planet called "Earth",
Was destined to be my hearth.
Millenniums folded,
The Earth moulded.
From a barren plain,
To the Earth we see today.
Then I met Man.
Gone were the forests,
Replaced by cities.
Gone were the creatures,
Who had no say.
Man was not evil,
Man had good intentions.
Shame that the life of one race,
Mattered more than the life of others.
Earth, my home.
A friend I used to know,
A girl I used to love.
Now I'm faded.

I tried so hard,
But I couldn't succeed.
But in my heart,
I know I will succeed.

I've been sent from heaven,
To assist those on Earth.
By leading the people,

The cotton picker who fought off wolves,
The candlestick maker who kept the pirates at bay.
The baker who fed the homeless with his loaves,
The beggar who brightened everyones day.

The soldier who sacrificed himself,
The nomad that fed the hungry.
The gypsy that always gave help,
The missionary that gave flowers to the sickly.

Their deeds are forgotten,
By everyone except me.
God bless them in their coffins,
And let's help others that are in need.

What Am I?

i can hear the thunder,
dance upon the darkened sky.
i can see the lightning,
kissing the horizon.
i can feel the fire,
burning in the sun.
i can feel the storm,
shifting through the wind.
so i dare you, king of the sky.
throw me onto the rolling tide.
salty rain splatter my tongue,
do i fear, Gaia's pride?

Look how far,
We've grown.
Look how far,
We've changed.
Look how much,
I've lost.
Look what more,
I've gained.

If you gave me a gentle push,
I'll travel further.

There was once a girl,
               Who taught me many things,
To love the earth,
                    And count my blessings.

Once I was broken,
                    Beyond repair.
   I laid on the floor,
                           Full of despair.

       She walked by me,
                 I thought she'd pick me up.
     But she said to me,
                          Get the hell up.

She didn't give me a hand,
              She didn't help me at all.
She just made sure I got back up,

               Hearing her words,
Made me get back on my feet.
               I said no more,
I disliked defeat.

               She smiled at me at last,
Knowing she'd taught me right.
     To never give up,
                           Without a fight.

      Reaching out her hand,
           Get up she said.
                        I took her hand,
                                              Got up and went again.

I tried so hard but when I succeeded,
I forgot those who were there.
They left me with my glory,
As I slowly became history.

I sacrificed everyone I loved,
For something I didn't need.
So think twice,
No ,thrice,
If glory is really what you seek.

Roses are red,
Your eyes are a perfect blue.
God they're so gorgeous,
I think I'm in love with you.

People often tell me,
That I run too fast.
But if I go any slower,
I'll be going backwards.

The waves are rolling,
To the shore and back.
The ocean is roaring,
The waves launch one last attack.

The sun goes down,
The sky explodes.
I let the waves carry me,
And followed the ocean flow.

Wherever they take me,
I will find my muse.
Hey it doesn't matter if I die,
I've got nothing to lose.

I met a girl,
by the name of Gracie.
She stole my heart,
but my memory is hazy.
Not sure if she's the one,
that's going to save me.
Still looking for her,
I must be crazy.
