Terra Nullius born from the ashes of colonies past,
from a nation over seas far,
the white cliffs of Dover show their colour,
they reached a land of beauty rich and rare,
they saw and they conquered caring none for those that stood in front of them,
for years this ravaged,
destroying ancient culture,
until a man realised that the land he loved was not his,
taken from him unbeknownst,
he stood in despair,
the system against he fought,
until he died a young man of pain from tortures past,
in his grave he heard the victory he won,
Terra Nullius is gone,
Long live Eddie Mabo.
Eddie Koiki Mabo was an Australian man from the Torres Strait Islands known for his role in campaigning for Indigenous land rights and for his role in a landmark decision of the High Court of Australia which overturned the legal doctrine of terra nullius ("land belonging to nobody") which characterised Australian law with regard to land and title.

The happy you believes in yourself and others.
It's true, the more i am happy with myself the more i am happy for others to be others.

all of us have a story to tell,
so listen and listen well.
Do we truly listen to others?

Star's in night sky an unimaginable number to the naked eye,
eyes travel through space searching for a glimmering star,
thoughts travel through the minds neural sky synapsing like bright inner stars,
from outer to inner space there is much to see,
eyes search for the wonderful sight,
thoughts search the mind for hope and reason that might,
the more we travel the more we learn,
experience opens the mind and the sky,
acceptance and love expands as we travel,
hope is gained the less we hold back and the more we ask why,
negativity lost as pain and hurt unravels,
through knowledge gained insight opens the door,
a door to a better life as that suffering parts,
a journey is long whether through mind or eye,
experience gained only with both open,
so lets open and travel far and wide.
I study psychology, and so i think sometimes as i look at the stars our mind is such. Light travels through space searching for something to shine on, our thoughts travel our mind searching for meaning. So i think both are similar.

Love those that are near, for someday they will be far,
without their presence you are bereft and with fear,
with life spent in memory of times had,
through the glimpses of good and bad,
still you hope of times lost,
as you view their image through minds eye,
this is where you love the most.
How do you feel about those close.

Dew
Today as I wake my soul born anew,
I await the morning like the first drop of dew,
the sun will rise as my soul is condensed by the want of others untrue,
like the dew drop of a fresh morning new the sun takes what it likes leaving not much to view,
until all is gone and weariness comes there is no more soul and no more dew,
so bed I go to wake again hoping to be born anew.

Bleak as a dark mass wave crashing craggy shores,
thoughts bludgeon hammer and anvil try that I might,
still I wait for the one to ring true, bludgeon no more,
it comes like a comet at night,
travelling to fast to catch perhaps,
I reach hoping to snare that wonderful sight,
and so I grasp, a wondrous thought,
to put to page and give to critique this night,
hoping that it will be sought.
Sometimes writing is hard while other times it flows.
