I like that thing you do with your tongue.
What do you call it?
Speaking?
Yeah, I dig it.
We know not where we are to go
Or what our future holds

We fight each day
With all our strength

We fall
We rise
We walk
We run

We cannot stop the flow of time
We cannot stop our ever changing hearts

Each day
Each week
Each month
Each year

We grow and grow at our own time and phase
So that we can reach that place
I'm new here, this is my first poem.
I am the game

that’s hard to appreciate outside of elementary,
or foreign language class in high school

I want to be your bingo

The excitement you get over luck
The small but sweet surprise prize
and the twinkle in those eyes,
all over a few (phone) numbers
and (love) letters

I am the game

that is often neglected
until one realizes adding monetary value
makes everything worth risking
but the truth is Honey
I won’t always pay out

Syzygy
I'm already past my limit
Yet people ask for so much more
And I can't give it to them.

I'm sorry if I can't help you,
I'm sorry if I fail.
I'll try to make things better,
But please note I'm human.
I can only do
So much.
Wit dimmer than your teeth,
Head lighter than your crown.
Always so politically correct,
will you fight wars to let 'World Peace' resurrect?
Someone far off , I can't see ,
lives in a graveyard
in hopes of reviving
dead dreams .

i don't understand how you feast with the wolves
and partake in the festives of painstaking fools
but all the while feeding the devil his food
you'll find there's a plate that's been saved just for you

Stoney
We walked along the edge of the ocean,
Were our feet met the sea
Shes gripped my hand a little tighter
Then whispered something to me,

She said,

When we get home
I've got something to show you
Something your dying to see
I know you'll love it,
It's for you,from me..
