when i was a kid
i always wonder why the moon kept following me
is she my best friend?
my protector during the nights i walk alone?
until  i grew older
and find her presence my peace
started telling her my secrets and dreams
sometimes we share our tears
we will talk all night
together we will fall asleep

The wonders of research
Tell us cats and dogs are color-blind.
But don't be sad,
They've given us
Something to aspire to.

gold
as a wedding band.
But it doesn’t shine
in my hand.

You can paint it
red
as blood.
But it won’t flow.
It makes a thud.

You can paint it
green
as clover.
But it only sits.
It won’t come over.

You can paint it
wearing a smile.
But it’ll not be happy –

It doesn’t have eyes
to look into mine.
It doesn’t have a mouth
to sing a note.
It doesn’t have arms
to hold me close.
It doesn’t have feet
to climb the mountain.

I lost a man from this planet.
He lives now under
a slab of granite.
Hard and gray as a stone.
All that's left of him are bones.

You can read it in silence
You can read it out loud
You can sing the lyrics of it.
It will stay forever still.
So write a poem
write a letter to all your
love ones!
With the written word
your word will live on
and on and on!

You will know when you have to let go
Some don't but you will
Sometimes it tells you to know your role
Perhaps you try to find it and define it
Turn a deaf ear if you are told differently
When things or people no longer no longer serve a purpose
When you have hit the brick wall
As difficult as it is let go
Don't hang on
You will see things more clearly
Embellishing what was doesn't work
Still searching for the best of me
