A faultless poem
inkless, without erasures
written in fixed glances
in agreement
a matchless pact

Each verse, a touch
a breath, a gaze

suddenly, their storm
unleashed
ink runs intense
crimson hearts bleed
bodies collapse

their surrender writes an end
a kiss
their thirst, a perpetual desire
to rewrite with fault
they call it a draft
and find a blank page
Write me a poem, he said. So she takes his hand and...

Death-throws
A poet dies not when he looses the will to live
But when he looses the will to write

*I had never met love
until I met you
My world breathes
in your essence
and I know
I am alive
My heart beats
to the tempo
of your smile
Singing of
your beauty
for I know
without you
I am nothing
I will never be
anything more than
in love with you
and I would
have it no
other way
I had never met love until I met you

Silence. Just Silence.

I thought I would cope with your Absence.

Wrong. My heart yonders for only One.

You. I yearn for Only You.
Only You can see me through this Loneliness.

It's Hopeless, I'm wishing and crying just to hear your voice.

Don't Toy with me, I had no choice, but to go.

And yet, even though it was me who left, who pulled the Trigger on this chain of events, I'll still wait by the phone.

Why? Because if I don't, I'm all Alone.

I broke your heart.
I made you cry…
Don’t you know that kills me?
In making my mistake, I hurt me
And I hurt you.
They say through your Mercy,
Your heavenly Grace,
Your sweet forgiveness,
I can be forgiven.
My nice white dress
Soaked in scarlet,
Bleeding crimson,
Can be clean again.
But how is that fair?
You died on the cross for me,
You let them drive crude cut nails
Into your gentle, loving hands.
With a crown of thorns upon your holy head,
They mocked you.
You cried in anguish,
“Take this cup from me…”
And bled from every pore.
I was up there watching.
Standing silently, doing nothing.
I watched you suffer for me.
I watched you pay for my failures,
My mistakes,
My weaknesses.
Why did you do that?
Because now, when it’s my turn to live,
My turn to suffer,
You don’t stand idly and watch me cry.
You hold my hand,
You dry my tears,
You give me strength.
Why?
Why have you done this for me?
You bled for me,
You cried for me,
You hurt for me.
Yet for my mistakes,
For the pain I’ve caused you,
All I can say is sorry?
“Sorry” can’t be enough…
Can it?
How can I walk away unscathed
While you bear my scars?
