You float into my mind
Like a row of dreams

Then, you leave my heart
Like a row of sighs

My mind fans you with
Affection of tenderness

Then, like a shy plant
You shrink to hide yourself

The only relevance of distant past
Is only its irreverence, if any

Then, why does my stupid heart
Need reminder after reminder
Of this triviality

light
blinking in the night sky
“is it a star?”
i tell my    sister yes
The poem is supposed to look like a star, but it only kinda worked. Oh well.

Sun
When I say
that you are my Sun,
I don’t mean that you are
Luminous,
Brilliant,
Gilded,
Beautiful,
Bold,
Warm,
Or even the center of my universe.
I simply mean that
I cannot look at you
Without hurting

If I am qualified to
Go to heaven,

My dear God,

Kindly take me out
Just before
Inability sets in and
Prevent me paying
My dues for
The precious breaths I steal.

In exchange of this huge favour
I am willing to go to hell

The three hands,
All keep running,
As if they intend to
Catch the others

Even when met
No breaking,
As if they are in a race

Is this a
Perpetual attempt
To break out
From the clock?

Escape

There must be happiness here in this place
where I stay, the sound of the seas calling
me in the morning light, beckoning me to
come towards the window and stare at their
existence, watch their kingdom glisten like
gold, glisten like an array of galaxies,
so still and tranquil, iridescent and magnificent,
the surface of its escape a boardwalk
of infinite bridges.
Keeping pace
While they fail
To stride ahead,
Falling down
They opt to be
A barricade.
To those with an evil mind.
