Your lips
slightly parted;

pure smile
of ancient Greece
seen on endless
broken statues.

Smile of sun
and knowledge.

Smile of Artemis
and Athena.

Smile that smiles
in the endless
moment.

Eternal
feminine
smile of
the mysteries.

Many may come,
yet few will climb;
not every man is concerned with what's inside.
Stuck at their base, just by the look on their face, you can see the soul speak in their eyes.
They were never ready to start from the heart; they were always afraid of heights.
She wears streaks of colors
In her hair,
So even strangers know
how vibrant she really is.

She sets with the sun,
Then rises again with the moon.

She warms your heart
Like the coffee she always sips, and writes colors in black ink.

She sways my heart and kindles my soul.

(And someone anyone would be lucky to hold)
You're are my best friend. I love you so much.

O beauty of the beach…

The dying of the day
Soaks the somnolent sky
In drips of melting gold;
The teardrops of the sun.

The shimmer of the light
Trickles over ripples
From effervescent waves
Dancing on the water.

Warm, creamy sands along
Lake Michigan glow like
Vivacious embers low
Beneath my tickled feet.

Cool, frisky evening gales
Blow my troubles far, far
Away, beyond the haze
Of future’s foggy skies.

Goodnight, Lake Michigan;
Goodnight, o placid skies;
& goodnight my darling;
O beauty of the beach.

May the virtuous grace
Of evening tides carry
You to the kingdom of
Hearty mirthful dreaming.

& may you wake to find
A marvelous morning
As beautiful as you...
O beauty of the beach.
She said:

“I really wish things were different
I’m so tired of living like this
Too many things wrong in the world
All of them in the way of my bliss.

If only things were better
If only things were fair
Then I could find my happiness
And finally lose my despair.

Won’t someone take charge?
Won’t someone help me out?
You’d think someone would be willing
But someone keeps letting me down.

I said:

“Go stand in front of a mirror,
Look closely at what you see,
I’d like to introduce you to
The someone you’ve been waiting to meet.

Someone who can do all that you asked
And then a little more
Change is something that you do,
Not something you wait for.”
It has come to a point where it is nothing
But a cycle

Day 26

Smoke cigarettes
   Try [so hard] not to feel a thing
   Try not to dwell on those regrets
   Try not to remember anything
   Our inside jokes, even the green ones, and silly bets
   I thought, maybe it meant something
   But I guess this is as good as it gets
   I ended up with nothing
Nothing but cigarettes

(repeat the next day and the day after that)
