You fell in love
With a charade
Even her honesty was fake
And everything else she said was a lie

You fell in love
With someone who said they don't care
She said she couldn't care less
But really that's all she ever did

You fell in love
With a laugh and a smile
A carefree style
But she's the saddest person you ever met in your life

You fell in love
With someone who talks until her mouth is dry
A chatter-box you find amusing
But she just hates being lonely

You fell in love
With someone who hides things well
Puts on a brave face
And tears herself up to keep everyone else whole

You fell in love with a
Genuine liar

I wouldn't like to be a naiad
Unless I could swim through dirt
Then when you ceased to breathe,
I'd rest beside your corpse in earth.
I wouldn't like to be a dolly.
My heart filled with needles and pins.
Every time you near me,
They always sink further in.
I wouldn't like to be a shadow.
Unless I was cast in your light.
So that I may be with you,
Even in the darkest night.
I wouldn't mind being a kiss.
I don't quite make the cut.
How can two lips join,
If one set is sewn shut?
This is a tribute to Tim Burton. He inspired this poem and I give all credit to him.

Life
You kissed me, while there were still crumbs on my lips
The sweetness of the chocolate mixed with you
We laughed and kissed and loved
In a way that filled me with hope
I fell asleep to the sound
of your heartbeat
But when I woke,
No trace of you was left
All there lay, was a broken cookie
I dropped, to taste your sweetness

seems like we all come here to let go of something
to let go of of broken heart, unreturned love,of hate,of fears,
of people around pushing you,of injured heart,of your worst sins

seems like we have all been facing our deamons for to long
couldn't stay in silence forever and just keep it all inside like we used to
looks like we all look for a way to become someone fixed and new

we all have chased, and cried and pleaded,we all were out of place
feeling useless feeling weak, wished we could be erased..

we had gentle hearts uneasy minds and feelings that went wrong
so we tried to find a way out and it was to release them into a song
I hope you know what love really is

and if you don't, I hope you learn one day
That love isn't a possessive way
and if you let your ego lead
You are sure to feel jealousy, pain, and greed

Love takes maturity

because it doesn't always work out they way you'd like
You need to be able to understand so you won't have spite
Love goes deeper than skin
and it touches within

You want them to be happy and even if that means letting go*

A smile on your face will still exist
You are genuinely happy for them and love has taught you to subsist
They are still around breathing the air you breathe
and that alone will always keep you relieved

Love teaches lessons that stick with you till the end
How I have felt once in my life and am blessed to say I have experienced such. I still love him to this day and always will.
I fall in love with places
the way that some people fall in love with human beings.
The moment you took your last breath,
and I heard the croak dissipate into the corner of the room
Your body took form of a silhouette
and now you're nameless

You are more than who you were when you had a name
Yet everyone treats your death with shame
my depiction on after life
I'm not adverse
To your discourse,
Your lines
On aches and longings.
Am I remiss
To dismiss
Your lonely poems
On dying?
You're killing me.
