WHY DIDNT YOU WARN ME THAT FALLING FOR YOU WAS LIKE THROWING MYSELF INTO THE DEPTHS OF THE OCEAN WITH NO LIFE SAVER

But then i remember
A being
an orange being
With a motor so loud
and love that soars
through even the darkest cloud
Furry and warm
earth born
I'm most certainly
writing
about a cat
love.
Not love at first sight
but Love.
The one that rips you apart
Only to show you who you are
what you are
and your worth.
The one that makes you smile and cry
the one that makes you strong yet incredibly weak.
The one that makes you lift YOURSELF up,
the love that makes you grow stronger
together and apart.
yeah,
that Love.

He makes me question myself
Everyday a constant discovery.
inhale what I don't know
exhale everything that I thought made sense
This Love is rare.
Thousands of kilometers stand in our way.
The easiest things are made incredibly hard.
But,
Our love remains.
I was never a believer in long distance love
It was unrealistic, impossible,
A recipe for disastrous heartbreak
But every time I look up at the night sky,
I think of you..
and the summer we shared beneath the stars.
No matter the distance,
your love lifts me up.
Nothing is certain,
but my love for you is infinite.

You're the reason I believe in something I don't know.
Late night feelings, and confessions to the one I Love.
How many are the years
I've wondered, wandered alone
with no one to call my own
no one to hold in the night
no one who could care
if I live or die
since you, my husband,
died after fifty years of
a good marriage

Who cares now ....

I miss you.

My head isn't bare
So trouble i'm hiding
You assume
Under my scarf
Within my hair
Yeah, of course that's true
Because feelings i don't have
And to care i never do
WOW what some people
Sophisticated much
in wardrobe and appealing,
But how about
thoughts and some feelings?
This one is for those Muslim girls (including me)treated differently for the religion they decided to pursue and the body they decided to cover , always stay strong and never lose hope :)
i was inspired to write this poem from the song "free" by muslim singer sami yusuf { http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5aTsQL42-cg }

Once upon a time there was a person
He was walking along
He met the full burning moon
Rolling slowly twoards him
Crushing the stones and houses by the wayside.
She shut his eyes from the glare.
He drew his dagger
And stabbed and stabbed and stabbed.
The cry that quit the moon's wounds
Circled the earth.
The moon shrank, like a punctured airship,
Shrank, shrank, smaller, smaller,
Till it was nothing
But a silk handkerchief, torn,
And wet as tears.
The person picked it up. He walked on
Into moonless night
Carrying his strange trophy.
