A poison so sweet, irresistible,
Much like the nights where those fictional thoughts creep up your throat and run down your eyes
Leaving you alone to your own demise
I despise how your own physical disappears with your mental as you, poison yourself with something demented but, yet, you swallow knowing of its effects on you.

As your mind soars afar yet you stay near as the wind brushes pass your ear, whispering the things you need to hear.
While hoping that it'd take you anywhere that would save you from the immortality that is the endless depth of your mind that seems to never diffuse into the  darkness of irrationality.
Yes the home,  of insanity that is cozier than your rationality that picks you apart, spurns you around and knocks you down into an abysmal bliss of  a reality that is split into two, with the question am I really me or am I  really you ?
I wanted to eat and eat and projectile ***** the aches of this soul into the oblivion that is thee unknown.
There's something liberating
about watching old men
with gray beards and hats
read intently from thick books
while the world unfolds around them.
Their families are gone,
along with the desire to chase
fast women and fast cash.
These aged men of leisure,
they are the survivors
of war and capitalism,
religion and disease.
Nothing surprises these old men
in their final days of wisdom,
and so, it’s quite simple.
They read in peace.
Have you ever been in love?
By being in love have you ever felt trapped?
Not only trapped in your heart but in your mind?
By being trapped have you ever felt lost?
Like imagine yourself sitting in the dark, cold, darkness of the night, sitting in a cage. That’s locked up and no one is there to let you free.
That’s how I feel.
By being lost have you ever felt like you give too much to people who don’t want what you give?
Like love!?
I give a lot to people.
By giving a lot do you feel forgotten?
Can I ask you one last question?
How old were you when you fell for somebody who didn’t care?
No matter how close you two were
