I slipped and you caught me.
You're holding on to me so tight.
You have both of my hands in yours.
Im hanging off the edge of a cliff and I'm trusting you to pull me up.

But you don't.

You tied rope around my wrists as I stared into your eyes but I saw nobody there in you.
My wrists are burning and I'm too scared to move for if I do I might fall into an abyss.

So I stay. I have no choice.
You left for days. You would come back to check on me. To make sure I was still alive.

As long as I'm breathing, I'm yours.

Weeks went by and I realized I'd rather die than be yours.

So I let go.
In that moment, I saved myself.
Although all poets write well, only those becomes popular who learn to respect the work of others..
This is what my favorite teacher used to say.. " do you know what makes a person's work more important?
the ability of the work to adjust with the reader, and that adjustment is only possible when - you learn to respect the sentiments and style of how all express and that's the way you should write.. "

She died in a car mishap, 1 and half year... I posted this in her memory, because If we see - its not just about a writer and his readers, its about all, about everything in fact..
My lust, my thirst,
Day by day happen to increase,
But the truth is it darling,
That my life till date has been cease (d)

You came in
We accepted
But you were incapable of handling your own deal
You desperate for follower
To feel secure

Why were you so incompetent
You tend to be unfair to those who do not take your side
The Carefree and The Rational breed

Eventually you realised
Your follower weren't loyal
Your bitterness swell
You are desperate once again
You seek comfort
From
The Carefree and Rational breed

You never changed
You never learnt

You were
Irresponsible
Incompetent
Injustice
Incapable

Once again
You had failed

Today you come back
Is that to seek..?
Comfort or sympathy?

You are a burden and hardship

And we are going stronger
The Carefree and The Rational breed

Bubbling, frothing,
Fluffy blooming mass
Grey white
Scattered across the air of blue
A million, billion raindrops
Forever changing
Living monsters
Morphing,
Shapes to beings
Oblivious of gravity,
Or people’s wishes
have reposted this poem, written 8 months ago, and for some reason it has mysteriosly disappeared from my Hello Poetry collection..... which is a shame as I had some lovely comments , and many views.  Please enjoy again.
The clouds finally release their burden,
Feeling themselves suddenly empty,
Missing the drops of moisture that used to nestle within that now seal the sky with white.
The snow falls like dots on an old TV screen,Its bunny ear antennas finally failing in old age.
Muffled silence. Shh! Do not disturb.
The wind echoes through the trees,
Whispering airplanes lamenting the freedom of flight.
The snow plummets from the sky
Arrows
shot by a hidden enemy
But this is a friendly kind of war,
The intended targets only becoming chillier.
The wind chimes peal occasionally in delight,
Shaken by the frigid gust that slants the snowfall
I exhale, my breath warm as it clouds past my lips,
it swirls back to envelop me, as if in thanks.

*The world is quiet here.
Do you ever think about me
Does the thought of me ever cross your mind
Have you ever held me close in a fantasy
Or envisioned our bodies fervidly intertwined
Have you ever wished I was near...
When you just needed someone to hear...
Your thoughts and feelings about...
What ever needed to come out.
Have you ever thought about me
When I think about you, my breath catches in my throat
My chest feels empty from the feelings it invokes
Just the sound of your voice...
Leaves me no choice...
I begin to reminisce...
Of your simple and gentle kiss
When I think about you...
And often I do
